Tim Hortons at WDW

i work at timmies and i keep asking the district manager when they are going to open a timmies at disney so i can go run it ,i even said i would sign a contract saying it would be the best timmies ever no luck so far also tim horton's is switching to splenda, should happen any time stores are just using up the other first we already got our first box in at my store

With sincere apologies to my dw and Jersey Shark, both Tim's and DD have mediocre coffee at best.

I say put in a Second Cup!! :cheer2:

And now ladies and gentlemen, for my 1,000th post I must DISAGREE with my husband (declansdad) and say that this a man who drinks only 1 cup of coffee per day, so his ability to judge is somewhat in question.

Happy Valentine's Day honey!:lovestruc

I also knew my celebratory post HAD to be on the Canadian board.

We live just over the border from Fort Erie and
we have many Tim Horton's here.

I love Tim Horton's, too !

I like to purchase a cup to go and I also like to get ground coffee
to make coffee at home. :cool1:

Ok all this Timmie's talk has made me realize I have a question. Will I be allowed to take coffee packets in my packed luggage? We are flying from Bangor so no need to pass through Canadian customs.

DH has taken some down on 3 trips but never when we flew because of trying to travel light. We take some down when we drive because of the extra space. If they are sealed, there whould be no problems.

See if your local Timmie's will sell you some freezedried packets, that is what we had and they traveled well and never broke open and your whole suitcase won't smell like coffee.:thumbsup2

DH always takes a couple of cans down in his luggage....he would go crazy if he didn't have a fresh pot of Timmie's coffee in the villa waiting for him first thing in the morning!:goodvibes

Wendy's no longer owns Timmies though. Mind you I don't often drink coffee but I could go for a nice old fashioned plain doughnut from Tims. What is even funnier is if you stop at the Tims on I75 by Dayton and order a DBL DBL the staff all say ah you are from Canada as this is a corporate store and they all train in the Toronto area the guy I talked to on our way down in Dec trained in Burlington. He loved it up there and wants to try and transfer up here from the US.

Good for him!

but I drink one good cup everyday.

18 days without Tim's. It was tough. ;) Next time I'm bringing a can for the hotel room coffee maker.

Um, actually had McD's coffee on our drive home on Sat and it was...good. :scared1: Now, we had been drinking that Nescafe syrup crap for two weeks by then, but according to the cup, it's a new blend, Newman's Own organic. McD's and Organic in the same sentence, I know that's an oxymoron, but if they switch to that in Canada I might actually buy a coffee someday when I'm getting McNuggets for the kids...nah, I'll just stop at the Tim's across the street first...
