I posted this on the BB, but no one seems to care...so I thought I would share over here.
Best Buy has an in store promotion where if you buy certain regular (not Blue Ray)movies you get a free ticket voucher for Tim Burton's (with Johnny Depp) Alice in Wonderland. It is not available on line, but you can view the Sunday ad describing it at bestbuy.com. None of the DVD's are over $9.99 and a couple are only $6.99. The ones for $9.99 will get you a free adult ticket up to $12 and the $6.99 ones will get you a free child's admission up to $8.
I don't know how you find out which theaters are participating until you have the code to key in, but I had three available choices.
There were about 12 movies to choose from. Here are the ones I remember:
Tron
Ed Wood
Narnia-The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
Narnia-Prince Caspian
Chocolat
All three POTC movies
Enchanted
Princess Bride
Finding Neverland
There was also another display next to it for free snacks at Hollywood theaters, but I don't know if we have a Hollywood theater here, so I skipped that one. Those were in increments of $5 and $10.
