Subscribing. I'm still reading the posts from Jan, but that's about where I am in my planning for our Sept. trip. By the way, my best friend got the free concierge upgrade last Sept at the Poly. (I noticed Tim's reference in the song) That was on top of the free DDP she got thanks to my help. Can you believe her luck!?

I'm back, enjoying your pretrip report as much as your TP from June 06'. You will love POFQ, the rooms are very nice, resort is perfect size, pool is fabulous for kids, boat ride to DTD is nice, food area huge compared to RF at WL, walk to POR is beautiful. Wow I could go on and on about this resort. I have stayed at WL and would love to go back, but never can justify the higher cost, hopefully I will get a great rate again so that I can return. Some additional things about POFQ, we saw many families taking the boat to POR to swim or rent watercraft. I know you will love this resort, suggest you avoid building 7, too close to where buses idle in the mornings. Ask for a waterview, there are many in this resort, maybe you'll get a free upgrade.

Thanks so much, sounds like a great resort - I honestly haven't read one negative review about POFQ, who knows - we may surprise ourselves and fall in love. Tim and Luke rented the watermice last year so it's great to know those are available at POR, they had a fun time. Maybe we will get a waterview upgrade- now wouldn't that be cool!

I was wondering if you could give me some personal tips for my trip to Disney in late Sept. early October 2008. I will be going with hubby, and sons (9 and 4). We will be staying at POP and doing the 10 park hopper with dining. I figured you would have great tips since you have taken your kids when they were young.

I saw in your report that you went the I think 1900 fare for a character dining. Is that more for girls or do you think my boys would like? Also, have you ever done Cindy's castle breakfast?

We'll be at POFQ the same time as you. We were June 8- June 19. Hope to see you around. You're gonna love it. We've stayed at POR, Pop and AKL, but going to POFQ feels like home to me. The streets in the resort and founains are so beautiful. The azaleas are always blooming, and the boat to Downtown Disney is such a peaceful way to travel. Look for us. I plan to put a big Lime Green Mickey head either on the door or in the window.

Just so you know. . .. we are on our way to Kiawah Beach in South CArolina for my Spring Break. My mother was generous enough to get a 3 bedroom condo on the beach and invite us down. We leave early tomorrow morning and will return on the Saturday before Easter. I will have my laptop with us, so I probably will check in before our return, but wanted you to know where I was in my absence. HEY, when I get back I'll be ONE WEEK CLOSER TO DISNEY!!! Here's hoping for a week of nice weather on the beach, CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

I guess it's a little OT, but I'd love to hear about Kiawah Beach when you get back - I've had a couple of people tell me it is a great place for family vacations. Maybe you could post a picture or two for us when you get back

They say it starts at age 3. My daughter will be 3 1/2 when we go and she is SO into hair/manicures,etc. etc. I am only doing the 35 package with hair/makeup. I will have her come in with a dress and I decided against the nails because they are the fake ones and she will have them off instantly, not worth the extra 10 in my oppinion.

Hi Lesley & Tim,

I have read your last TR and enjoyed it and found your pre-TR and have gotton this far (as the quote above). I just wanted to chime in and give you some info on BBB. My daughter went last October. I only booked the $35 package, but I changed it once I got there to the $45 package. They did not put on fake nails, they just put polish on my DD's nails (I think we had a choice, but I can't really remember). You do get to go home with the remaining makeup and nail polish. My DD loves to wear makeup and to polish her nails (such a "girly-girl"). My DD chose the pop diva hair style and still to this day LOVES to wear the hair!!

I need to get back to reading your TR before DS wakes up from his nap. I will post again later... Thanks!!
