Oh puh lease - you could see in the video that the teen had a grip on tigger with the way he was pulled when tigger moved.

Thats great the father even had the doctor give the kid Pain Killers for a bad neck.

I hope they get plastered in every area they go to and banned from the parks for life all of them.

The lawyer that takes on the case should be sued as well.

you can totally see the kid laughing as he's doing something to Tigger with his left hand. Hopefully whoever takes the first look at it in the courts is smart enough to have the case thrown out immediately. It's definitely a money-grab.

It didn't look to me like Tigger was acting aggressively but lost his balance and hit the kid (who probably initiated the whole incident). Disgusting!!! First I read about the kids going around trading bogus pins with other kids (the father behind it all probably selling the good pins on ebay) and now this....these poor excuse for parents are raising our future, great

My son, a former Disney CM figures that the boy is reaching behind Tigger either for the custume zip, or the attachment of the head. I really feel for the CM who was Tigger, if he slips out of character for any reason, and it is reported to management, the chances of dismissel are very high. My son also told me of an incident at Epcot where a druken guest tried to grope Jasmine, the quick thinking CM playing Alladin stayed in character and said something like "hey, don't you know she's already married to me", in response the drunk swung a punch at Alladin (thankfully, missed). For all this abuse the CM's make slightly over minimum wage, and have to be happy and cheerfull at all times.

I'm glad we are finally able to hear Tigger's story. Have you seen the uncut video? The camera remains pointed to the ground, but you can hear Jerry Jr. say something like "Sorry Tig. My Bad, Man. Aw, too Much? Sorry Buddy, I was on your head." Then Jerry Sr says "No crowding Tigger, Man." and then the camera comes up to show the family and Tigger's reaction.

I think this family assumes it's payday time because of this video. I'm sure Disney lawyers will see the unedited version of this one before they decide to quietly settle it.

Yep just another useless lawsuite man I am glad people up here aren't that stupid and try to sue companies and people over the dumbest things like in the US. If that was my kid he would have gotten a swift kick in the rear for screwing around with the CM.

I couldn't agree with this statement more.

The big head characters have a wooden "halo" that sits on the performer's head inside the costume. So, even so much as a 'tap' to the big head is quite painful to the CM inside. Actually, the worst is when (usually college kids) lean on the 'big head' for pictures, as it hurts a heck of a LOT.

I can't believe that it was the union who spoke up for Tigger and not Disney. It irks me to no end when Disney doesn't protect their own in order to save face.

Well it is VERY obvious that Tigger was NOT attacking this kid. EVen if we give the kid the benefit of the doubt, he may not have realized how he was grabbing the costume that caused Tigger the distress. Its obvious!!
If you watch the unedited version you can see at the end that Tigger shakes his hand....as if to see if he is OK.
I feel Tigger has already apologised, when he did that. Tigger isnt allowed to talk, what else can he do.

I think we should all write to this family and tell them how we feel. Ive already written and mailed a letter. We should write Disney as well

This is a family of Con Artists! I read on the Community Boards last night that the family is now suing Disney for 4 million dollars!

They should really be ashamed of themselves, it is obvious from the tape that the boy was doing something behind Tiggers back!

Did you guys notice when the boy was being interviewed he couldn't even look the reporter in the face! All the difficult questions he looked down at the ground. HMM!

This upsets me to no end, as it shows that it was clearly a set up!!!

What's sad is that Disney will probably settle out of court to avoid the hassle, so although the family won't get 4 mil, they will get something out of all this. HORRIBLE!!!

Um, maybe I'm out to lunch here, but the comment about "redness" on the face in reference to the assault is interesting. Tigger has so much padding there in costume, he would have had to really belt him to have "redness". Any thoughts?
