I think that he probably formed this habit as a very young man and simply liked it too much to stop. Imagine the women who have thrown themselves at him, and it almost certainly started long before he was old enough to control himself.

He was young, rich, a celebrity, good looking and single. It is a wonder that this is his only problem. Look at the issues that other young celebrities have fallen into...

Cheating is not what he's being treated for. The addiction to sex is. Apparently. This doesn't surprise me given the sheer number of mistresses he's had. In the back of my mind, I kept thinking about "sexual addiction".

I still think he's a dog, and less of a man for his cheating ways, and deserves to be crucified BY HIS WIFE AND FAMILY for his transgressions. However, if he has a legitamate addiction, I am glad he's getting help.

He is using an excuse for his cheating, in the old days he would have been considered a horn ball. Now he is considered an addict. I guess we should let all the rapists and molesters just go to rehab. They are obviously addicted.

Isn't that called polygamy - but without marrying every partner?

I just think he has the type of brain that can segment things into different components. 18 holes of golf require separate & different strategies to play each hole. You don't think of the past hole when you are onto the next. Plus, he had to keep straight every golf range and all the different holes at each range. He had a LOT of practice honing that ability.

I can play chess and figure out between 6-10 moves and different possibilities ahead. That includes knowing and remembering where ALL the different playing pieces are, and how they interact, and figuring in what my opponent is going to do. For Tiger, juggling all the gals might have been like a big, ole golf tournament, the challenge being in negotiating all the different holes.

Anythings possible. AS I said...it's an issue that is seldom discussed and very poorly understood. Whether he has an addiction or was just a gigolo, I am glad his messed up rear end is in therapy. I hope his wife is too.

I have to comment since I am watching the latest Rehab from last night.

I couldn't give a rat's behind about Tiger Woods, but this stuff about accountability is just silly. I don't know if anyone has ever been held MORE accountable for something like this than he has...

I agree fully about not giving a darn about him. My point is you don't take responsibility for your actions and then blame it on an addiction.

That would be like apologizing to someone and saying " I am sorry I couldn't control myself and did-----to you but I am addicted to-----so it really isn't my fault.

Not accountability, deniability is what that is called
