How many have made a grocery stop on the way to the resort? Do I need to call ahead and let them know we need to stop or can I just ask the driver? Leaving next Tuesday, can't wait!!!
Thanks Everyone!!!

Yes, call ahead and let them know. They will stop at the store of your choice. Our driver just goes to Publix-Williamsburg. Also...it is now a 20 minute stop, not 30. Our driver gives us a grocery list of what is on what aisle. I was in and out in 20 minutes and spent $150+.

I would like to know the answer to this too. I'm not sure if I can get in and out of a strange grocery store where I don't know where everything is.

Yes, you definitely need to let them know in advance. If you go over the twenty minutes, nothing happens. If they don't set a limit, some people would take all day. In the limo business, time is money. ::MickeyMo

You might ask your driver. We asked back when it was 30 min., and the driver said to take our time. I think it all depends on their schedule.

This is the email they sent me when I requested a grocery stop when I made my reservation. Can I say I HATE all caps - veyr unprofessional!

HELLO,

THE STORE IS PUBLIX AND THE STOP IF 20 MIN MAX 30 MIN ANYTHING OVER
30 MINUTES IS $1.00 A MINUTE. BOOSTER SEAT IS REQUESTED.

They are gonna charge you a $1 a minute for every minute you are late at the grocery stop?

NO WAY WAY WAY! Talk about pressure sheese!!!!!!!!!!!::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

I was really leaning toward taking Tiffany but not with a $1 a minute charge if I run into a line or whatever!:chat:

Boy, that message looks familiar. I received a very similar snippy E-mail when I asked to confirm my grocery stop.

I cancelled my reservation after that, and told the TTC office staff I would rather go with a company that will be nice to me.

The all-caps thing bugs me, too. I had asked a question before I made the reservation, and got a normal E-mail in response. Then, after the reservation was made, the same woman wrote back with the whole all-caps "attitude" going on.

There are a lot of other towncar companies out there...being nice is important.

Last year I think I was in Publix for almost 40 minutes. Berkley did make it know that I was in there a while, but did not charge us the $1/min rate. I guess that is why they give you those lists now. Familiarize yourself to the aisles. I have my own shopping list with me, so I am not just buying randomly.
