I just got my DF a Tiffany & Co. toggle bracelet as a wedding gift to her.

couple of questions-

Do i give to her the day before, right before the wedding, right after, later in the evening, when we are alone, with people around-or when should i give it to her??

It has the heart dangling from the bracelet, very small on top says Tiffany & Co .925 on it. Should i engrave the heart or leave it blank?? I was thinking to maybe get our wedding date engraved on it or should i leave it as is?? Should i engrave one side or both. If engraved, which side, the one with T&C on it, or other??

Please help!!

What a sweet gift! As a girl, I would say to get it engraved on one side (not the side that says Tiffany on it) with either your wedding date or her new initials (if she's changing her name).

Personally, I would prefer the initials, but that's just me. But really it's Tiffany, so how could you go wrong?!? :earboy2:

You done good! ;)

I would engrave it with her initials. Are you having Tiffany engrave it? I think they usually engrave the side that doesn't have the Tiffany & Co written on it, but I'm not sure, and I dont have my bracelet on me so I can't check. But I would definetly go with whatever her initials are going to be after the wedding. As far as when to give it to her, that depends on when she is going to have time to see it! I assume you want to see her open it? Unless she's going to open wedding gifts at her reception, I would give it to her the day before, or that night after the reception.

Here's another vote for her new initials  I personally would give it to her after the wedding, but when you are alone (in the evening at the hotel or somewhere like that).

what a sweet gift and another vote to engrave it with her initials or even yours. many couples give gifts at the rehearsal dinner or the morning of the big day. then she can wear it for the wedding.

I also have to go with the initials like everyone else.

And I also agree to give it to her after the wedding sometime when you have time alone together. Maybe a very romantic spot -the Beach at GF. Or maybe right before your first dance. Or when you go back to change for reception or dinner.

Thanks for all the replies!! Based on the input i got, i went out today and got her new initials engraved on it on the front, and decided to put the wedding date on the back. It looks really nice!!

Now, when to give it to her??? I still have not decided.

We are just having a small wedding here in town. I dont know if i should give it to her alone before we get married, or right after, or with everyone, the day of or day before. Or wait until we fly to disney the next day-i dont think i would be able to wait that long. I want to give it to her now!! Its killing me to wait another 15 days!!

Im glad everyone thinks i made a good choice in getting her a tiffany bracelet. I was really trying to come up with something nice for a wedding gift for her and wasnt sure if that was good or not. It is really nice!

I saw that you posted this on another thread:
"I just called the GF Bakery and set up delivery for one for May 14, the day we arrive at the GF. They said they could deliver it to our room any time, so i set it up for 9pm-We will be having dinner at Calif Grill at that time for our honeymoon dinner. That way when we return, it will be there for her. I cant wait. They took my CC # and said they only charge it if we dont show or something, otherwise it gets billed to room service. I ordered the Choc Cake with Choc Mousse, single layer with the castle on top."

I think when you walk into the room and the cake is there, this would be a perfect time to give it to her. Especially since it's your first day there. :cloud9:
