Im done with the long sleeve shirts, I took a couple quick pics before sending them to my sister, it was raining so I had to take them indoors, I was happy with the results. Her DH has Psoriasis so he wears long sleeves shirts most of time.

It's a shame that you were penalized for being helpful. I honestly don't see what the big deal is if you are posting how to do something and someone asks you to make something for them and they pay you for it. It's not like you're trying to sell stuff through the thread. Someone asked you. It's total B.S. in my book (maybe I'll get reprimanded for that too).

You're a doll for sticking around and helping people out. We just booked for February so I'm going tohave to give it a try. We'll see what happens.

Well, My dd and I made our shirt today. OHHHH I don't even want to tell you how they came out. Let's just say, I am glad you helping me with getting shirts. My hands are purple. I wore gloves. I think I should have tried to tie dye a shirt before trying this project. We will be sleeping in thes shirts we made at disney. At least we had fun trying.

oh bummer! It takes a couple oops's to get a good one so dont feel so bad, if you used the plastic gloves from the kits i see why you got dye all over your hands but it would come off within a couple of days, those gloves are annoying, they're too big and the the dye goues thru anyway, i used latex gloves or cleaning plastic ones, my problem is that my hands are too small but th xs latex work fine. You can give it a try later. I remember my first shirts lol they're not nice at all.

Pixie - those long sleeve shirts came out great - where did you get them? One of the shirts you posted you can see the weave in it! and it took the color great!! (I was wondering about that as I was looking at long sleeved shirts!)

when are you going to try a hoodie??

Hi Sandy girl!

They look cool I think, indeed the sleeves match the rest of the pattern. I got them at Wal Mart, now the short sleeves are gone and all the shirts on the shelves are long sleeves, my sis wanted longs sleeves, she lives in Texas and she couldn't find long sleeves there just yet.
I promise you that I would try the hoodie next.
Try the long sleeve sandy, the twist is the same, the bun would look a little bigger but is the same thing.

I get mine from Justice....they have TONS of short sleeve and long sleeve for girls and they are 95% cotton, so they take the dye very well. Shirts are cheap too, because generally they are doing 40% off the store!

i saw a family on Friday with the halloween themed ones... orange and black and some other colors...

i was rushing to get a FP for BTM and didn't stop to talk to them... they had about 5 in their party....

I wish my DW was with me so she could have seen up close how they looked..
