I think I can't participate in this thread like before, I can't received or send private messeges, but we can communicate via e-mail or msn messanger to keep up with you guys projects. I have always been grateful that you are willing to share and answer questions!

I bought shirts from JoAnn's and started to get my MM pattern traced, then I noticed it was a 50/50 blend! WTH?

I went to Target and on their 75% off rack they had 100% cotton

(they also had 95% _+5% spandex - - how would that dye?)

Also, are there any tricks to adding the black as a line? just get it thin? and being specifically inside the fans?

Again Pixie I appreciate your work, and can completely understand your feelings right now - but do realize there are so many giving of themselves here on the Dis, from spreadsheets, to reviews, to sewing clothes, autograph books - all those that do the DISigns....

I hope the Dis doesnt lose you!

About your question.. The 50/50 would not look good. The 95/5 would be ok, the spandex might be on the sleeves or collar, so that would be ok.

For the black, yes you ca do like a line inside the folds.

Hang in there!

When we know better we "do" better - and you have helped a lot of people - there has been a history of some "mean" people that tried or did take advantage of kind Dis'ers - like we're seeing in the 'real' world, the rules are made once a "crook" takes advantage...

I dont think like a crook, and am always amazed and new "procedures" that are put in place in stores!! Today at Target I returned a pair of shoes (DD had them in the back of her closet, still in bag and box - but no receipt) They scanned my Driver's License - which is fine but "why" Well because some people "steal" stuff and return it for money - they track how many returns you have...

well... wow!! Ok then!! I would've never thought to steal stuff so -

believe it- there are people with "hidden" agendas that have ruined some good things (like the Fridge swaps) the rest of us - but I completely understand, this is a moderated board, and its not easy being a moderator!

I am a bit scared to try the black - I will use it for the Mickey head! I took back my 50/50 JoAnn shirts they should be ashamed at selling those shirts next to the tye dye!

Yes, Michael's have those shirts too and I know some people doesn't know and they just waste their money.

Target has good deals, I found some nice women tees there.
