Tie Dye help?

I asked several days ago on the appropriate board, but didn't get a single reply to my thread. I am hoping that if I post here, more people will see this thread. I desperately want tie-dye Mickey-head shirts for my children for our August trip, but am hopeless with crafts. Would anyone care to make the shirts for me if I pay the costs?

They are really not that hard to make. I am not really crafty either but if you can seW a striaght running stitch you should be fine. Have you found the thread on how to make them? I can try to talk you through it as I made them once using those directions and they turned out OK. I would use a different background color to dye with but you can hopefully see the Mickey face in blue.

THere is a thread on the Craft board that tells how to make them. I will find it this afternoon. I have to leave for work right now. (sorry). PM me if I haven't posted by early this evening.

Im sooo Not crafty..
But I was able to Make 11 of them for our Sept Trip.

On Some of them, I was even able to do 3 Mickey Heads on one side..
Like the other posters Said.. Running Stich and Pull those Rubber Bands TIGHT!!!

You will be fine!

These are the instructions posted on the Creative Board. They are very good. Pictures are used to show you every step which really helps. Good luck!

Yay, I made them. I am washing them now, to remove the pencil lines. I'll post pix later.

They are lime green, and that's it. I THINK you can really see Mickey heads in them though. I ended up going to my crafty friend's house, took her out to dinner, and made shirts. She did the stitching for me, her dd13 did the template for the Mickey heads. I like them.
