Okay, so here we go again. Another trip report because it is time for another trip!!! I am due at the airport in just three hours which means I must pick up the two Rachel's at their two schools and head to meet my not so Mickey loving, but kinda Mickey tolerating husband. Malcolm is not returning to Disneyworld so soon after our September trip (it took me YEARS to convince him to go on that one!) but he will at least give us a ride to the airport. Baby steps, people!
This is the fourth trip report this year so some of you are familiar with our, shall we say, "spirited" family.
I am not as prepared for this trip as the previous three, but I think I can make it. I have more reservations than I can possibly keep up with, but I am still packing three hours before Tee Time!
Speaking of packing I am convinced I have a disease where that is concerned. It is just me and my 5 year old daughter for six days that I am packing for but I have stuffed the four largest suitcases I own. Does anyone think packing a small Christmas Tree and Wreath for our door is going overboard? Yeah probably, but when those two five year olds wake up to that surprise it will be worth the extra suitcase. PLus if I do not have room for all of my souvenirs I can gift the tree to the next family and have that room for the extra loot.
The cast of characters for this trip is a bit smaller than usual, smaller and with less boys. In fact no boys. My two sons have graciously agreed to me taking my daughter for a solo trip. We do have one stow away coming with us, but since her dad supplied the plane tickets. . . . .
The cast is my Mickey loving self, my Princess loving five year old named Rachel and a brand spanking newby to the world also named Rachel.
Last night when I went to the other Rachel's house to finalize everything she showed me the post card that Cinderella sent her anticipating this trip. Both Rachel's wore Cinderella dresses to a Fall Festival. When I was in WDW two weeks agao i sent them both postcards from the princess telling then how much she had loved their costumes!
We have four stuffed suitcases (plus a tiny one for the other Rachel whose momma obviously has sense!), one laptop, two miniprincesses, a minichristmas Tree, lots of Tinkerbell Treasures for surprises, annual passes, the dining plan, Disney Crocs and several princess dresses, so I think we are in for a wild ride like Mr. toad! So in the words of Peter Pan, Off we Go. . . . .
See ya real soon!
