Hi

Some of my party are only planning to visit the parks for two single days. Can they buy single day tickets in advance? If so where? Does anyone discount these?

Also - if at the ticket both, could they buy both tickets at the one time to save queuing the following day.

Aren't the one day tickets 'single park'? Ie, you cannot hop between parks? Also, I think you can only buy this type of ticket at the gate (or in resort hotels etc).

Thanks for your answer, GO2209. I know they are single park tickets - pity. But my Mum only wants to spend one day at MK and one day at AK. If we can only buy at the park, can we buy the AK tickets at the MK booth or vice versa??

Hmm... a while back I received a couple of one-day-one-park tickets for free.. Looked the same as any other ticket and were valid for any park.

What I am trying to say is, I think you will be able to buy one-day tickets from any park/resort and use them anywhere you want?

Also, you are not supposed to be able to use the transportation services with a one-day ticket - although I cannot figure out how they can restrict this.

Personally (and finances permitted) I'd encourage them to buy the 5 day hopper plus (with the two 'extras'). They can hop if they choose, plus they would be able to visit Pleasure Island with you in the evening? Tickets do not expire and they could always give you the remaining days for a christmas present!!!

4 Day Park Hopper® Tickets
This ticket allows entry to all four Theme Parks for four days or more. Unused days never expire, and purchasing this ticket before leaving home saves money.

Gate price $208.00

5 Day Park Hopper PLUS® Tickets
This ticket allows entry to all four Theme Parks plus the ability to pick and choose other options for five days or more. If you buy a single day ticket you can purchase another ticket ( for the same OR a different park ) for $5 less as long as you buy it before you leave the park.

You just go to Guest services with your one day ticket, buy another and get your discounted price. The only stipulation is that the new ticket must be used within ( I believe ) 4 days of purchase.

I think my Mum will probably go for buying the second ticket before she leaves the park.... A $5 discount is better than nothing.
