I have a question my trip is booked for 8 days. My daughter can only go for 4 so. I wanted to invite my sister who's husband has been out of work. The dining part is fine. It's the park tickets that's the issue, if we bought a new magic band could she use it?

You know I thought that but then before I told her I called Disney and asked if I could swap out my daughter and bring in my sister and the girl told me it would not be an issue,... then when I called Saturday they said I could do it but it would cost me 364.00!

Never trust anything a phone CM tells you.

Your daughter and your sister cannot share one 8-day ticket. There is never any situation where that is allowed. Once your daughter uses the ticket, it will be biometrically linked to her and no one else will ever be permitted to use it. You will need to purchase a separate ticket for your sister.

A ticket is specific to a person. Because the price per day drops dramatically, Disney doesn't want you buying a single ticket for multiple people to save money that way. On our upcoming trip the last couple days are only $10 a day. Disney doesn't want me leaving on day 8 and someone else having two days in the parks for $20.
