I can never remember the answer to this question.

We have 2 day park hopper fun and more tickets for our upcoming trip. We are planning 2 days in the park and 2 at the water parks. Do we have to use a theme park day first to activate the tickets or can our first day be at Blizzard Beach?

We are staying on property if that matters.

Also, since we are staying on property that means our tickets don't expire until we check out, right?

I can’t remember the exact amount, but your tickets are good for a couple of days after check out.

A 2-day park hopper plus ticket is valid for 5 days from the noted start date, or if bought with a package valid until your check-out. Whichever is longer.

No, it depends on length of ticket. Only 10-day tickets are valid for a full 14 days.
