Tickets plus Moonlight Magic or is MM enough?

I got lucky and got tickets for the Epcot Moonlight Magic on April 30! I'd never even heard of MM until a few weeks ago, so I haven't looked into it too thoroughly yet. My husband and I love Epcot, especially during Flower & Garden and enjoy spending time perusing the pavilions and snacking throughout the day. Is it worth it to get normal tickets for Epcot on April 30 so that we can fully enjoy everything (we were also hoping to book Behind the Seeds) or does MM give you enough time to wander the pavilions and enjoy the flowers and food in addition to a few rides? Would love opinions. Thanks!

It is really your call how long you want to spend and whether you'd prefer to see everything during daylight. It is possible that some food kiosks will be closed during Moonlight Magic.

My family did Moonlight Magic at Animal Kingdom in December 2023. It was worth it to be able to ride Flight of Passage, Dinosaur, and Expedition Everest with very short waits, but the food was only available in a few places.

If you want to be sure to appreciate everything at the Flower and Garden festival, you may want to do the festival during the day and the rides at night.

The festival booths will close at 9pm, I'd get tickets if you want to be able to spend time wandering and not feel you are limited with your time. Congrats on getting tickets and have fun! Or, don't buy tickets and see what you get done. If you feel it wasn't enough, then go on line and buy them.

There is overlap of normal park hours and MM. If you're in the Orlando area, I would purchase tickets for another day.

If you're visiting and do decide to make it a full day, you might consider a break mid-day to rest and re-charge.

When I went to an EPCOT MM last year, I went for the whole day. MM was nice, and I'd do it again, but I still like having more time in the park to wonder around world showcase and ride rides in the former Futureworld area. MM is great for Guardians of the Galaxy, Soarin', Ratatouille, and other attractions that usually have long lines during the day.
