Please help me with the follow calculation.

If my first park day is May 9th, what is the last day available to use my tickets?

This is the age-old math problem of counting both ends of the fence! Your ticket is good for 14 days from the time you activate it by entering a park, that being day 1.

SO, in your case your ticket will be good from Tuesday May 9th up to and including Monday May 22.

OK perfect.......that works out great.

We are planning some time @ Disney, then a cruise and finishing up at Disney....was just worried I'd be out of luck for the 22nd....we depart on the 23rd

And it is actually good until Tuesday 23rd. Wording is "within 14 days". Look at it this way, if it said within 1 day, you would have until the same time on Wednesday the 10th; within 2 days would give you until Thursday 11th. Extrapolate that timeline out 14 days and the last usage day is Tuesday 23rd May. The moment of first use is zero hour not 24 hour (1 day). Day 1 ends 23:59 after first use.

Just splitting hairs here as OP says it is good for them either way.

I was only sharing the information i got on the Theme Park board when i asked the very same question Monday! I couldn't figure it out and it does matter to us since our trip is almost a full 3 weeks. Robo -- provided me with the answer.

BUT reading your answer sorta makes sense --- guess it's like the dining plan being good till midnight of your check-out day i guess  Oh well, like you said, for the OP it's all good
