Hi Guys,

So excited our Virgin tickets arrived this morning :D roll on the 9th May...

I want to take my daughter who is 4 to one of the Princess character meals...she is sooo a Disney princess girl (her bedroom is all Disney princess) was going to book the Cindy's b'fast at the castle, but with 4 adults and 3 kids it works out expensive, and my dh is very funny about his b'fast (i.e does not like eggs!!!) so he would rather have a buffet which this b'fast is not....so after some searching found that at the Grand Floridian they do 'My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea' it is quite pricey at $200 (one adult and one child) so I would just go with my little girl...has anyone been, it sounds lovely and I am really keen to book it, but would like some feedback..

Thanks
Nathalie

Have you thought of going to the princess storybook breakfast at Epcot?
we went last October, there were 4 princessess there, snow white, sleeping beauty, jasmine and belle, theres no guarantee which princessess will appear, but cinderella wont be there.
You get an all you can eat buffet-
fruit,bacon,sausage,scrambled eggs,toast,breakfast potatoes.
prices are $21.99 adults
$ 11.99 kids (3-11)
:cool1:

We have booked with Virgin and they said that we wont get our tickets until 2 weeks before we leave. How have you managed to get your tickets so early? Just curious :D :D :D

smiley snake - no idea why we got ours early, cos it is normally 2wks before you fly!!!!

Kaylee - thanks for the link, have decided to book this for my dd, can't wait to see the look on her face when we get there :D

I havent done the princess tea as I only have a son, but I know people who have done it, who thought it was wonderful.

Great news Nat! I'd love to know what you thought when you get back :)

If she is a cinderella girl why don't you try Cindys gala feast at the grand floridian. It is a dinner. The food is really the best we have had at these character dinners. The strawberry soup alone is worth it. It is Fairy godmother, Cindy, Prince charming and the two mice. We have done it 2 times now and DD5 has loved it each time. The girls all dress like a princess (cindy mostly) and are treated very special. Plus the price is much better. From what I have read about the tea from those who have gone. Aurora is notin the room the whole time. She comes talks poses and dances a bit then leaves. If you search for Janet2k on here she and her daughter have done it and give a good report.

The princess tea is worth every penny. Your daughter will love it.
You get quite a lot for your money, My Disney Princess doll , tiara, rose, a braclet and wand and the little princesses are treated like real royalty. The maximum number of junior princesses is about 15-20 which gives the girls lots of time with aurora. Send your DH to golden corral breakfast only $8 .With the present exchange rate it is just about £110 for something you will always remember
