Tickets for MVMCP?

How far in advance do I need to buy my tickets for MVMCP? I am just beginning to plan my trip for Thanksgiving... Just called and booked 6 nights at ASMo. Now I'm working on airfare. Can I wait a few days to book MVMCP for Nov 28th? Is there a chance it will sell out soon? I've never been, so I don't know how popular the event is. Thanks in advance!!!

I have never been to MVMCP and can only go by what I have read on these boards. In previous posts, many people have reported that the first nights to sell out are the first night, last night and most Friday's. Well, 11/28 is the first night. Most of the posts stated that they did not sell out till Sept / Oct. So you should have some time. But once you know you are definitely going, I would go ahead and get those tickets just to be safe. I am going 12/17 (last night) so I bought my tickets already. I didn't want to take any chances that I would miss this since it will be my first time at Christmas time and everyone has said what a great party this is.

By mid June you should be fine,I think the MVMCP you want to attend will be a sellout.We've been going to MVMCP each year since 1992 it is such a wonderful time.This year we're going to MVMCP on 12/7 and 12/9.

We ordered tickets for Dec. 5 for MVMCP. They gave us a confirmation number to pick up our tickets when we get there.

Do you pick the tickets up at the resort, or do you have to get them at MK on the day of the party.

My travel agent arranged my tickets and she said that we would pick them up at WDW, she just didn't say where. I know that I have a while to worry about this, but I don't want anything to go wrong with the trip.

I have already called the Travel Agent a thousand times, so she probably thinks that I have lost my mind, so I did not want to call back and ask her again.

I think that next time, I will do everything myself. I feel better if I am in control. That is why I handled my own HDDR reservations and plan to handle all my own PS's in September.

Jen in MA,We ordered our MVMCP ticket's earlier this week.This will be our first MVMCP!And the first time to see WDW decorated for chritmas.We were going to wait awhile to order our ticket's but didn't want to take a chance of not getting the ticket's.Maybe we'll see you there.
