Tickets for 5 of us. Need help!

My husband works in California, so we would like to go visit during spring break. So i would like to take the kids and I for 3 days to Disneyland. The kids ages are 16,15, 11, and 6. We are on a very tight budget and all I have to pay for his tickets.


So here are my questions:

If we as a family volunteer a day can we upgrade our ticket for two more days. Does anyone know of this and what it cost to upgrade?

Is there anyway we can get a southern cali. pass when he works in california but doesn't live there. ( Well you know he resides at home)

I know you can upgrade, they subtract the $72 difference. The SoCal pass has been widely discussed and they are supposed to ask for SoCal/Baha zip code ID but....
