1. We have 8-day No Expiration PH / Water park tickets from UT we would like to upgrade to 10-day tickets. I know we have to use them first to bridge the price. My question - our first and maybe only entry this trip may be one or two of the Waterpark entries. Does this count as an entry for locking in the current price of the ticket or do we actually have to enter a theme park to lock gate price? We are hoping to go to a water park and then upgrade to 10-day NE/PH/WP tickets, but not use any theme park entries at all this trip.
Completely separate question...
2. We have a Bounceback free dining reservation this August. We have to purchase 2-day tickets for the free dining. Our plan was to save these tickets for future use in a few years and not activate them at all this trip. The only problem is dd is 9, so what is the best way to proceed from a ticketing standpoint?
A. I can keep her listed as 9 on this year's reservation, but then when it comes time to use the ticket she is no longer a child but holding a child's ticket. I know the best way to upgrade would be to bridge the ticket by entering first, but we can't do it in this case. Would my only option be to upgrade the ticket before entry to an adult ticket, thus losing the value of bridging?
B. Or, I can upgrade her to adult now for free dining, thus getting her the adult ticket she would need when we return. It seems as though this is the better option as then the ticket could be used and the price bridged like the rest of ours. Am I missing something? I asked a related question on the restaurant board and got conflicting responses.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
