tickets-can we do this?

Ok, so we're going on a coach tour of California, ending with a day at Disneyland.We get a ticket for DL from our tour company for this-a standard park ticket as far as I can remember (I've done this tour twice already!) DBf, wonderful guy that he is has now decided that on the second to last day , instead of visiting that OTHER theme park (that-which-must-not-be-named) he'd like to see DCA. What I'd like to know is, can we take our single day ticket to Guest relations and get a discount on the 2nd day-I thought I'd read somewhere that you could do this? Or is that only at WDW?Or am I off my trolley and you can't do this at all

that would probably be a question for the Guest Services people-- I'd e-mail them or call them. I'm wondering if you could upgrade to a 2-day parkhopper instead, then you could go to both parks on both days.

That's an awfully short time to be in DL, though. I would make a plan of the highlights you want to hit, because you won't see it all. 3 days would be better.

I second the idea of getting a 2-day park hopper. As much as you'd like to see DL one day and DCA the second, in my opinion (we were just there two weeks ago), I only spent about half a day at DCA and rode most of the rides that were open during the refurb. I'd much prefer to spend more time at DL.

I third getting a 2 day park hopper. Since you are so limited on time you could head back to DL after DCA closes. Enjoy your trip!

I don't think you would get a discount on another single day ticket but you could upgrade to hoppers. That would give you more time in both parks. We have APs but honestly, a park per day is just not what we want to do. LOL We love to park hop and even with APs we can easily spend 5 or 6 days in the parks and still not get everything we wanted to do done.
