We are leaving for Europe from Canada on April 16.
We plan on doing a day visit to DLRP April 30. Should we buy the tickets now online for 44 euro each plus 4 euro for shipping or should be buy them the day of? I think prices are changing soon - do you know by how much? And if I was to order them now would I get them quickly? Thanks so much!

hrmm if i were you, i'd probably buy them now, just to avoid the queues on the day! not sure about prices at the park mind you...

I would definetly buy them now. Dh & I were there on the 8th & 9th of this month, I could not believe the lines for tickets(which by the way I stood in the 1st day, lesson learned!). Below is a picture of the lines, once you get inside it is like queuing for a ride.

I am going to be the dissenter here. You have 3 weeks until you leave. MOST of the time that is adequate for mail to arrive from Europe - mine can take anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks.

If there is any delays in processing, etc you may be out of luck.

Are you going from CDG straight to DLRP? you can buy tickets at various locations in France.
  • at Park admission ticket windows
  • by phone at 33 1 60 30 60 30 (calling to France)
  • in the Disney Store on the Champs Elysées, Paris
  • in the FNAC stores in Paris
  • at the Virgin Megastore on the Champs Elysees in Paris
  • at the Paris Tourism Office and in Parisian airports
  • at certain RATP ticketing windows in Paris (metro and RER)

Yes, there is a slight chance that ticket prices may go up, but you do run a risk of not receiving the tickets in time. It's a small risk, but an important one....

We're going to Disney in a few weeks and are going to buy annual passes once we get there but we're thinking of getting one day passes before we go to avoid the queue!

We won't be arriving though until 1.30pm, are there likely to be huge queues for tickets at that time of day?

We're going on 7th April and plan to by APs, however I have bought our one day tickets on the Internet in advance, to save queuing up when we get there. The cost will be refunded regardless of how you buy them (or so I've been assured).

When are you going exactly?

We're going from the 9th - 13th April. This will be our third trip but we've always just bought 3 day hoppers before. As we're hoping to go back later in the year it makes sense to get Annual Passes.

We'd planned to just buy them when we get there on the main gate but seeing that picture above makes me think it might be an idea to buy them before!

I just wondered what time the above picture was taken. Don't want to be that close to getting in and have to wait for an hour!

This is a very good point as it is just over 2 weeks before you leave for Europe. I'd be worrying each day

I wouldn't think about ordering them by post, we've always bought them at the Disney store before and that's what we'd do this time.

Couldn't face the stress of waiting for them to arrive!

If you aren't able to get to a Disney Store and purchase them before you go, and plan to drop your luggage at your hotel before heading for the park, then an alternative might be to purchase them at the hotel.

Sadly we don't have a Disney Store close to where we live, and I would sooner set off knowing I had my tickets already in my hand, rather than wait til I arrived and risk queuing for ages

I don't know if it's possible in Canada but on the UK site you can order and pay for tickets, print out he receipt and exchange it at a special desk at the park, might be quicker than waiting in line. I wanted to double check these details but the booking part of the site doesn't seem to be working at the moment.
As far as I can remember you can only buy 1day/1park tickets online not sure if you can only get 1 day park hopper tickets at the gate. :)

Are you staying in Paris prior to your DLRP daytrip ?
If so then you've these options open to you - information from DLRPmagic website.
