So - BIG excitement in our house this morning when the postman came a-calling. Large envlope from Virgin, which could mean only one thing - the tickets have arrived, yeeeeeeyyyyyyy
Sat down after school run to bask in my wonderful planning . . . I don't believe it - no flipping flight tickets.
I ask you, how could they honestly forget to put in one of the most important tickets
So, from 8.40 to 9.05 I "queued" on Virgin's phone number waiting for someone in Ticket Despatch to answer. Eventually gave up (well, the swimming pool - no, not mine
) was beckoning and was giving a friend a lift to the station.
Once I'd got back I tried and tried again - this time the Virgin first number was engaged. Got out my book of tricks and found another number and got through first time. No problem, flight tickets being requested and despatched (again
).
Keep your fingers crossed for us . . now all I'm waiting for is the Keith Prowse tickets (I can feel an anxious couple of weeks coming on
).
