Tickets and Coronavirus Concerns

Have an upcoming trip planned for 5 (all "Disney adults"), so tickets are expensive. We are DVC members staying on points so don't have a package. Depending on how Coronavirus progresses and the rules about return-to-work following travel by our employers, we may need to or want to skip the trip. I had never bought the "no expiration" option before but figured that would be worth it, however I don't see that as a possibility. Does anyone know how the date change option works--would I need to identify the new dates right away, and if so can they be changed again? Thanks in advance

1. Nope. That has not been a ticket option for years, now.
2. I would not buy any "special" tickets at this point.
3. Yes.
But, since this disease is a new situation, we don't know what kind of accommodations Disney
will allow regarding tickets.
But, we do know that they have made allowances for special circumstances in the past.

They no longer offer No expiration.

You can change dates in My Disney Experience to any other date in 2020, either using the app or the website, or by calling. You don’t need to do it right away.

You will pay any difference in price, including the price increase from last month if you bought before it.

If you can’t go in 2020, the tickets will expire. However, an expired ticket is functionally a coupon for a future ticket purchase; Disney will give you credit for what you paid.

Tickets can be transferred as long as they haven’t been used.
