Hi All,

We're off to Disneyland in a couple of weeks and I noticed an article about prices going up today and a 3day pass is going up to $250? Does that apply to the online prices as well that are on the Disneyland ticket website? They are currently $199.

But, while we're out there, we were thinking of doing Universal and San Diego Zoo, so is this ticket the best option?

2012 Southern California CityPass - Ages 10 and up - $279
Experience a whole lot of fun under the Southern California sun and save 25% off main entrance prices! One low price gets you admission to three awesome attractions: Universal Studios HollywoodSM, SeaWorld® Adventure Park, your choice of the World-Famous San Diego Zoo® or the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park® and of course, a 3-Day Disneyland® Resort Park Hopper® Bonus Ticket for Disneyland® Park and Disney California Adventure® Park. Plus you receive an early entry admission to a designated Disneyland® Resort Theme Park.

So this would do Universal, San Diego Zoo and Disney, for $279 - couple of questions tho...

Does anyone know if the 3 day pass for Disney has to be used back-to-back? Or can you use 2 days and then use the 3rd day a few days later?

Is it technically 4 parks you'd get in with this ticket as its Universal (1), Seaworld (2), San Diego Zoo / San Diego Wild Animal Park (3) and Disneyland (4)? Its just the way the wording is above, it says its 3

Cheers

J

The City Pass you have listed is for 1) Universal Studios 2) Sea World and 3) 3 Day Park Hopper for Disneyland. In order to get the San Diego Zoo or the San Diego Zoo's Safari Park (the upgrade is not good for both parks), you would have to purchase the upgraded ticket which is $311. The ticket is good for 14 days from the first day of use, so you can have a couple of days in-between Disneyland. The description may be a leftover from last year when the Zoo or Safari Park was included in the base ticket, instead of having to upgrade it.

Yes, the zoo/wild animal park is no longer on the City Pass, they decided to remove it instead of having to raise their prices even more this year, since Disneyland increased their prices so much last year.

Apparently, you can add the zoo or safari park and the total will be $311 per adult, which is still a pretty good deal; however, keep in mind that you can often find locals on craigslist that are members that will give away their 2 for passes for the Zoo or Wild Animal Park, if they get them.
