Ticket Upgrade

Can I upgrade an unused ticket that was purchased from UndercoverTourist to a DVC Annual Pass. If so, will the credit be the discounted amount that I paid for the ticket or the actual cost of an 8 day hopper?

Yes, unused tickets can be upgraded. See post #15 in this thread: Everything About WDW Tickets

There is some question about upgrading a MYW ticket from UT to a DVC AP at this time. It is being discussed in this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2631593
Until UT gets the answers it needs from WDW, it has recommended (post #229) that you not buy a MYW pass if there is a remote possibility you will want to upgrade to an AP.

If the policy changes, it is possible that you will only get credit for what UT paid Disney for the ticket you bought, which is almost certianly less than you paid UT.

Of course, you might be in the same situation we are: we already have the tickets. If it turns out we cannot upgrade them to an AP, then we will probably cancel a trip to WDW. If that means checking out Universal, then Disney might care, but it probably just means we will sail on DCL instead of staying at our beloved BWV! -- Suzanne
