I'm planning on buying a 2 day/1 park per day ticket with lightning lane for next month. If we get partway through the day and decide that we'd like to hop, is it possible to add it on? If so, how much would it cost?

$65. It costs the same no matter when in the 2 days you add it (it is not prorated) because it is a flat fee to add a hopper to the entire ticket (you can’t add for just one day of a multi day ticket). So if you think you want it, add it at the time of purchase or early the first day. I think you have to go to the booths to add it on for the same day, which can take time if the lines are long.

Another thing to note, if you change your ticket to a park hopper you lose the reservations you made with the original ticket and have to make new reservations. So they won’t do this if they parks are sold out for that day or the next. It’s risky to wait if you think you want to park hop.
