We're planning on spending 2 days in the parks and want to do 1 1/2 days at DLP and only 1/2 at WDP. What's the best ticket option since I don't see an option for a 2 day park hopper ticket. Does the 1 day/2 park ticket option allow you to go to both parks in one day like a park hopper?

Yes you want the 1 day/2 park ticket to go between the 2 parks. For the other day you could get a 1day/1 park ticket as they are cheaper. We got the Mini tickets from the French official DLP site and it worked out cheaper than the UK site. You just print them off so doesn't matter which country you are in.

Where can I find the 1 day/1 park ticket? It's not showing up on the website for me (I'm in the USA). How much more expensive are the tickets at the gate compared to purchasing online? There's a chance we might only go for one day if we're able to see what we want in that day.

I am currently browsing the US version of the site and it does look like the tickets are so much more expensive in dollars (compared to in euros) based on current exchange rates. However, it says that the tickets being offered aren't available at the main entrance. What does that mean? Just that they're more expensive, or is there something different about the tickets offered online? Thanks!

Go to disneylandparis.fr and then if you use Google Chrome you can translate the page to make things easier - you are looking for Tickets (billets) and then Entrance Tickets to the park - have a scroll down and you should see lots of options.

You can use the official disneyland paris site for any country, just when you pay you have to put your address in and you can't change the country so leave as it is. They email the ticket to you so it doesn't matter.
www.disneylandparis.fr is the french site, disneylandparis.co.uk is for the UK and so on. I think the US site is much more expensive so it is better to use a site for a different country. You might have to clear cookies to view it. I just booked mini tickets via the French site (use google translate if you don't understand french!) and it was approx £5 cheaper per ticket than on the UK site.
The tickets you can buy online are cheaper than the ones you can buy on the gate, you have to buy the mini/magic tickets online before you go if you want the better prices. I think the gate price is about £70? We paid 47 Euro for a mini ticket for one park which is approx £35 so a big saving, depending on which ticket you go for.
hope that helps!
