Our last trip to DW was in 2008 when our daughter was 5. Since then we've had quite a bit of chaos and somehow forgot that we'd added on to at least some of our passes for a no expiration five day pass. I found two and I honestly can't remember if there were others or not...it's quite possible we just did two. My question is that one of these is a child's pass and now my daughter is 10. Does anyone know if there is a way to convert this to an adult pass and if so what would be the best way to do that? I'm assuming there is no way to check if we have additional passes....

Thanks so much!! We are thinking about a late October trip coordinating with friends!

If the pass was appropriated for the child the day it was activated/first used, then the pass owner can use the pass regardless of age. I've never heard of CM balking.

If all the passes in question where bought at once, then you can take the ones you have to Guest relations and they SHOULD be able to find the others, or at least tell you what happened to them. You can type them into MDE and see what it says, but my memory is it has to be within the last 3-4 years for MDE to know about it.

If your child has a non-expiring ticket that is partially used, and she has reached Disney adult age, a Disney CM at a ticket booth or Guest Relations outside each theme park, or Guest Relations at DTD, will exchange her ticket for an adult ticket with same assets, for no charge.

If the ticket had never been used, a Disney CM would upgrade it to Adult ticket, but you would be charged the difference in cost, giving you a value for your original ticket based on how much it was worth in 2008, and calculating what the adult ticket is worth now.

For in-depth info about tickets, our Ticket Sticky at the top of this forum answers a lot of questions. It is slightly out-of-date though still accurate. See Post #13 for what to do about Lost Tickets. See Post #9 about Children and Tickets.

Thanks so much for the info!! I'm feeling encouraged. I'll definitely check out the Ticket Sticky......

I was able to just enter my tickets from 2009 into MDE and it showed me how many days we had left on each one. Good luck!
