Ticket Question

I am in the very early stages of planning a trip to Universal next summer.
We haven't been at US/IOA since 2006 so I feel like a newbie!

The question is - we can get 3 day/1 park tickets using our American Express points. Would we be able to upgrade those tickets to 4 day/park to park tickets at the gate?

People have done it with their Chase points tickets. I don't imagine yours would be any different.
