I'm in a bit of a bind that I'm hoping someone can give me a suggestion for. We're leaving Wed. and bringing a friend and her 3 year old daughter whose $ situation is very tight. I don't know what I was thinking but I told her a while ago that her daughter was still free. (Which I just realized is not true and NO she won't try to sneak her in) They are only staying with us at WDW for 2 nights and then heading over to visit family. What the cheapest way to get her daughter park tickets? We had planned on park hopping but I know the one days won't allow that. I thought about getting her a 4 day and keeping the extra days for future trips. I feel responsible for her having this unplanned expense so close to the trip so I was I guess I was just praying maybe someone knew some kind 'special' ticket lurking out there or perhaps a place to find discounted one days and/or one days you can hop with.

All are long shots I realize but I figure you never know unless you ask.

Sorry, as far as Im aware there aernt any 1 day hopper tickets. Although, if you do decide to go the one day ticket route, you can take advantage of the "bounce back" ticket option. Its still being offered..anyone yes? It allows you to buy the first 1 day ticket at regular price then you buy the another 1 day ticket the same day at a discount. The second ticket doesnt have to be for the park your purchasing them at either. I cant think of the exact amount of the discount offhand.

Hope that helps

The least expensive option will be a two day/two park ticket (formerly known as a "Bounce Back" ticket for $75.26). You can't hop with this option. Here's a link that explains the ticket:

You'll need to scroll down a bit to find the description.

If you want to park hop, Paramount has child's 3 day hopper plus pass for $130. You can call 1-888-281-6699 to order and they have an office in Orlando where you can pick up the ticket. The address for their Orlando office is:

Paramount International Travel
4307 Vineland Rd. - Suite H-2
Orlando, FL 32811

Here's a link to their prices:

If you order online there is a $15 shipping charge, but if you are leaving Wednesday, you probably won't have enough time to do that. It's $25 for overnight delivery. They will deliver to an Orlando Hotel for $15 also. There's no fee to pick up the tickets at the office, but they are only open 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., M- F.

Good luck and hope you all enjoy the trip!

What is the lenght of stau pass for a child for 2 days and one night? It may be a good option.

It's $96.46, but based on vcasey's post, I don't think it applies.

To buy UPH passes, everyone in the party has to buy UPH for the entire length of stay (However, some CMs will allow you to drop day of arrival or day of depature and some will allow you to drop both). Sounds like vcasey is staying several days longer than her friend and unless the friend and daughter have their own room, they cannot buy UPH for less than the entire stay.

At least that was my assumption and why I didn't suggest it in my first post. I could be wrong, of course.

Thanks to all who replied.

The bounce back option may be what we do, but I'm now actually keeping my fingers crossed that a cast member friend might take us in one of the days.

CarolMN you're assumptions were right we are staying 10 days my friend just 2. We have annual passes, my friend had days left on old passes but the 'baby' just turned 3 so she never needed passes before. Becuase we are staying different lengths and no one else is getting UPH I don't think its an option for just 1 child. Also that Paramount link has GREAT prices have you used them?

If I had known about their Fun in the Sun pass I might not have gotten annual passes becuase I'm just going in Aug and Sept and doubt I can make it back again after that. That's a great deal.

Yes, I have. Bought two 7 Day PHP and one 5 Day PHP from them last April. My daughter and two of her cousins are in WDW right now using them. There are also other posters who report using them successfully. If you look back over the past few days on the Budget Board, you will find several threads that mention them. You can do a search, too. They got a lot of what was, IMHO, undeserved bad press from some DIS'rs several months ago. You will also be interested in the threads about the 10 day World Pass.

Hope you are able to work out something for your friend. Good luck!
