Forgive me if this question sounds slightly 'maudling' - it certainly isn't asked with me in that frame of mind :sunny:

I've been debating what Disney tickets to buy for our trip next month :cool1:

Obviously the tickets valid for more days work out cheaper overall but, considering DH's health, I'm wondering whether we'd be better buying just 3 or 4 day tickets?
Whatever happens I intend to buy non expiring ones (I think :goodvibes )

What happens if he is either feeling too ill to come into the parks with us or is unable to use up all his days and we don't get chance to return to WDW?
Although I know the old tickets were deemed untransferrable I would have sold on E Bay but now, with the biometric scanning etc this will no longer be possible.

Does Disney have any type of policy regarding tickets if you have part tickets left over, as a result of medical issues etc? :confused3

Any thoughts?
Thanks
:grouphug:

Alison I wish I had an answer to give you

I think I might be inclined to email Disney and explain the situation and ask how they suggest you proceed? I would hope they would respond to you in a favourable way due to your situation. :grouphug:

Thanks :thumbsup2

I think you're right and that's probably the best way to go.

I'll have a search round for a contact e-mail - unless anyone can point me in the right direction? :hippie:

:wave2:

Quick edit - I've e-mailed the online ticket sales so I'll see what they have to say :thumbsup2

Happy Birthday for tomorrow :flower3:

''WDW guest mail'' aren't my favourite folk just at the moment :(

The reply I got was, basically, 'tough'!
The policy is the same whether DH is unable to use all his days through ill health or death!!

Ah well, I haven't bought the WDW tickets yet and really don't know what to get (I was intending to buy from MapleLeaf when we arrive anyway).

We have 3 5 day hoppers from last year with 1 park day and 3 extras on each.
We've all got Universal annual passes and are spending time at the beach and visiting friends.
I'm tempted to go for 5 day, non expiring passes but, being pessimistic, I very much doubt whether Phil will get to return so don't want to spend money that will be wasted :confused3

Anyway, we're off in 5 weeks so what the heck
We'll sort it :sunny:
