We are booked under a Free-dining bounce back with 2-day tickets. We were planning to use 6-day tickets that we already have (actually upgrade them to APs) and save the 2-day free dining tickets for a future trip.

The CM on the phone (I know better to believe everything they say) insisted that the free-dining tickets would expire 14 days from room check-in even if we didn't use them?!? Is this something new? I'm assuming it's simply misinformation but wanted to make sure. TIA

1- Wrong!

2- Nope.

3- Yup.

(i know better to believe everything they say)

Yup.

It is not wise to accept anything told to you by a "phone CM" about park operations.

What you will need to do though is either deactivate the 2-day tickets on MDX or when you arrive at a park, before entering the park, go to the Guest Relations window and have them prioritize your tickets so that you will be using the old tickets, not the new ones. Someone has to let the system know where to pull the tickets from.

Right. My plan was to upgrade to APs upon arrival and prioritize then. That's was not my concern. My concern was the CM on the phone saying the free dining ticket HAD to be used in conjunction with this stay. It was incorrect information as I thought. Thanks.
