I have an additional ticket question. My niece is going down in August. She has an AP her DH does not. She is booking the package with one base ticket per person. Can her DH use the two base tickets (one is hers from the package and one is his from the package) while she uses her AP from earlier this year?

Yes, he could use both of the 1-day passes for admission on 2 separate days. It's not the most financially prudent way to use them, but if your neice and her DH have not intentions of ever re-visiting WDW in the future, it is certainly an option.

I would upgrade his 1-day pass to however many day they need and save her 1-day pass for a later date. The pass will not expire. When they take their next WDW vacation, she could upgrade that pass to a new AP or any other ticket type she wants.

So if part of your group uses their base tickets, you can take yours and upgrade it once you get to Disney (since you can't do it on the phone)??
Does this work if you want to just add days on your base?

Yes, it works the same way. You can add however many days you wish to an used ticket as long as the total number of days does not exceed 10. You can also add hopping, w/p fun & more and no-expiry at that time if you wish.

Is it possible to use both tickets to upgrade?

In other words, could my MIL take her 1 day tix and my 1 day tix (that I'm not using since I still have more than enough days on another unexpire tix) and use them both towards a 5 day hopper?

No. Only one ticket can be used to upgrade to one with more days &/or features.

Can I take that one day ticket and apply it to an AP by chance or to a florida seasonal pass ? If not can I use that ticket at the water park instead of disney world?

Yes, you can upgrade the ticket to an AP. I believe you can also upgrade it to a FL Seasonal Pass. I do not think that you could use it for admission to a waterpark. If you could it would be a poor use of the ticket. The 1-day base pass for an adult is worth $67.10. It only costs $37.28 for an adult waterpark ticket.

OK one more question. I jsut got the package with the free dining. They also know I am a flroida resident did they price my ticket at florida resident price or at full price?

I want to know just in case they do the upgrade. I want to make sure i have the right amount credited. THis is a first trip with the kids and great pricing for us all but still need to watch my budget.
