ticket prices

Was told by a Florida resident, that WDW is charging you the increased ticket price, if you purchased your tickets before the price increase. Has anyone experienced this or has anyone heard this?

We bought our tickets earlier this summer for November and want to make sure we do not have to pay the increase when we arrive on our first day.

A lot of people buy tickets before their trip when they know there is a price increase. I don't know where your friend heard that they charge you more, but perhaps there was a misunderstanding. Once you pay for a ticket, that's it. No more charge unless you want to change it for some reason to be a hopper, or a non-expire pass.
