:thanks:Thanks to those of you that mentioned this before it happened! I bought our 6 one day park hoppers online a few days ago for $74 each, and today they're $80 each. That is an extra $36 worth of Disney souveniers I can now buy, right?:woohoo: I just hope these print-at-home tickets work when I get there, or they'll be no souvenirs for anyone.:scared1:

Well done. I'm sure the print at home will work just the same as it does at Disneyland. There you just take the print out to the gate and they swap it for a real ticket. I've got my print at home tickets for Disneyland printed already!!

I hope you read the small print right because I'm sure it said (unlike the other tickets which last from a year of purchase) that the one day park hoppers for the previous price could be used at the latest 30 days after the fourth of April.

Of course you could be going before then, and all would be well!

Nope- we're good May 19th. I was worried about this also, since the Disney site stated the "valid through April 4th" thing so weirdly, and I wasn't sure if that was the price or the ticket. I even tried to contact them on email, twice, no reply. But after reading all the fine print and "Help" info. I decided it kept saying "good for one year from purchase" so we bought them and printed. The tickets say right on them in big print "Validity period: 01.04.08-01.04.09" so they are good for a year. :cool1:

We saw some people with printed tickets go through the turnstiles a couple of days ago and since I saw your query before we went to Disney, we stopped to watch the process. The CMs took the printouts to scan the barcode printed on it, let the user through and handed the printout back to them. The CM didn't give them anything until they said "Fast Pass?" Don't know whether the tickets they handed over would allow access to the park or just retrieval of fast passes - so maybe you might have to bring the printout each time.

At that time there were a lot of people queueing for the main turnstiles and only those three going through preprinted tickets, so you get the benefit of quicker access (well, at the moment anyway).

:disrocks: Lucy- :worship: SO HELPFUL!!! Thanks SO MUCH for watching!! I hadn't found anyone who had done this yet at DLRP, so I was nervous what the process would be once we got there. I was particularly worried that we'd have to go to City Hall or something at park opening to stand in a long queue for FastPass tickets. My 3 teens would be loving that:mad:   while everyone else is racing to Space Mountain on our ONE day at DLRP! Sounds like now I can be the 'Mary Poppins' mom:hug::love1: and be standing in the short line for once that day:dance3: "Yes, I planned this short line kids...see all those other people in the long lines...they didn't do their research on the DIS boards like I did!"....OK, don't tell them how differently this could have turned out...it's our little secret;) (Better not gloat until I see how it really works for us, I'm actually just glad to know the tickets work at all!). Good to know they give FP out at the turnstiles! Do you remember where the special turnstile was at DL- right or left side, and was it marked somehow? I guess the CM's standing out front should know. I'll let everyone know when we return how it works for park hopping (paper or plastic). Better take a ziploc for the tickets in case it rains...smeared tickets!:scared1: Thanks again!!!

I did notice that there was a pre-printed tickets this way type sign at the entry nearest Salon Mickey and Guest relations. I'm not sure you can use all the entries. Best to head for this one first :thumbsup2
