Anyone else have a problem like this on MDE?

From Disney:

In order to achieve this, it was necessary to deactivate permanently the actual RFID tickets for several of the party members. The electronic version of their ticket is attached properly and is still valid and showing on the respective accounts, however the account holder for each person will need to get new physical tickets at one of our guest services windows prior to entering the park the first day. Once they are issued new tickets, you and your entire party should be able to access the parks with no issues.

Sounds OK to me.

I have no idea why the deactivation was necessary, but it just may have been the most
expeditious route to getting a difficult/necessary change made.
 
I had the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago when I tried to link APs to a new reservation. After more than an hour trying to link our passes, I asked the CM to call me back when it was done. Ninety minutes later, someone from IT calls me! Ultimately, they delinked the originals, issues new passes and linked them. We will have to go to GS when we arrive in May to get new hard copies to use for discounts. I hope I don't have to go through this again in October! All in all, I have spent hours on the phone for each of my trips since MBs were introduced. They are fine once we get there, but I can't stand all the time I have to put in in advance! I really do feel for the CMs who deal with this over and over everyday - can't imagine how they keep the smile in their voices.
