So my daughter is dressing up as Tiana for Halloween. I purchased the tiara from the disney store and I am having difficulty getting it to stay on her head. She is only three and still has the baby fine hair. The combs do not really get into her hair and bobby pins were too big and didn't seem to keep it attached. I tried putting mousse in her hair to thicken it up but that seemed worthless too. She loves the tiara but I am at a loss as to how to get it to stay on! Any tips or advice for parents of princesses ?

Thanks!

does she have enough hair to make 2 small pig tails on top of her head? That might give enough catch to attach the combs to...

If not, Ribbon!! Hot glue some ribbon and tie to bottom of face (like a bonnet)...

Genius! I knew I could count on my DISers for help. I think I will try both.

We went to a Halloween parade yesterday and the tiara stayed on for about 3 minutes & my dd was so sad. I can't believe I didn't think of pigtails but we are just starting with the princess phase. I am new to the dressing up stuff. Thanks a bunch!

HAHAH I got a full blown diva princess so I am well versed in Tiara fitting LOL mine will be 8 and I have a 20yo that used to be one ... now we aren't quite sure what she is lol
