Tiana's Backstage Evacuation - Sunday November 3rd

My son and I got to see a bit more of Tianas than expected as the ride stuck right at the "down and up" drop. The CMs were a little rusty on their lap bar removal process so Id say we were in the seats for about 40 minutes just sitting there with the lights. Luckily there was WiFi! It was around 8:30pm and we did receive at Anytime FP that included Tianas but the ride never came back up that day. Fortunately I explained the situation to the CM at the DAS/Rider Swap umbrella the next day and she let us in without a VQ return time. And she let use the LL side!

It seems that Tiana's Bayou Adventure has been having loads of breakdowns and problems since it opened at Magic Kingdom this summer and I think the ride was rushed too soon because Walt Disney World was so eager to open it for the summer and they should've worked on it a lot longer before opening it for visitors. I think Walt Disney World should have no soft openings for new rides and just let them open on opening day. Because what I think is happening to Tiana's Bayou Adventure is that it's easily prone to breakdowns and what Magic Kingdom should do is close Tiana's Bayou Adventure for a month so they can fix the ride's problems. I'm sorry this happened to you Brett and I'm glad that everything went okay after that breakdown

I've been walked off Splash a couple of times; once included a trip backstage. It was very cool!

Well you got a special experience even if it did take a long time!!! and by your time stamp you were either up late from the experience!! 3:16am!!

I’ll just say you were lucky you broke down inside. We broke down after the first drop after loading and were stuck outside in a thunderstorm with lightening overhead for 45 minutes. We also received another pass but it was our last day in MK and we were leaving the next day. We were asked if there was anything we wanted to ride and we explained we were going to Epcot for dinner—we were offered GotG.

Absolutely agree they need to take TAB offline and close it until they fix it. Wonder DLR TAB has the same issues

That sounds dangerous! I'm terrified of lightening and would not have handled that situation well.

We got stopped on Tiana Wednesday night, inside right before the big drop. Positive was that we didn’t get wet and got an unofficial backstage tour (could see the barn with the Xmas parade floats) but the negative was that we’d timed the ride to see the fireworks from the drop so missed them entirely because of the delay in getting us all off. Interesting to see the ride with the lights on, though.
