THV on DP ?

I have a couple of questions related to THV using DP.

First, if I have DP for SSR can I use them to book THV? If so, I would assume I would need to wait to book until the non-owners date. Correct?

Second, I want to go to Disneyland but for work reasons my DH may not be able to take a vacation. If he can't then I want to take family to WDW and stay in THV. So, my question...if I book THV now with DP and then my DH can go to DL, can I cancel THV and then use the DP at DL? TIA.

In answer to your first question yes you can use DP for THV just remember DP can only book at the 7 month window for your travel dates. If your travel date is within 7 months you could book it on Feb 22nd.

I sorry to say I don't remember the cancellation policy on DP.
