Thursdays ?

I read a post somewhere that someone had written back in 2007 and it said:

This summer, go to the DVC member party outside EPCOT on Thursdays from 3-5pm and receive free stuff.

Does anyone know if this still happens? Where in Epcot would it take place? Any info? I haven't heard about it so I'm guessing it doesn't?

In the past some of the member parties have been held outside Epcot near the International Gateway - the Merry Member Mixer has been held there for a number of years now in December, but there have also been other similar activities. Welcome Home Wednesdays have been held at Atlantic Dance on the boardwalk. These will usually be noted on the Member website and also in the Portable Perks brochure provided at check-in.

I'm not aware of any announced yet for this summer.
