I just checked the weather for the next week and this is what it says!!! Grrr
I understand its hurricane season.., but!
Someone tell me they're wrong!!

This is common, but almost never as bad as the weather channel would have you believe. Occasionally you may get an entire day of clouds and rain, but usually a quick band of rain moves in, and leaves 30 minutes later. A little tip, stay away from the weather reports until you're on your trip, and even then, use sparingly. They can barely predict 6 hours ahead, never mind a week ahead! Have fun!

Thanks :)

I won't look again! When I viewed the week I was thinking ughhhhh

Showers yes, thunderstorms probably, but usually nothing to ruin your vacations. We've been sept. or Oct. for a long time now and it only happend 1 day that it rained from mornign till noon the following day... I would not worry too much. :thumbsup2
And remember, always better be wet in Disney than dry at the office...:rotfl2:

This is standard for hurricane season but the rain/thunder doesn't generally last all day. It's usually stints of crazy rain but definitely not morning to night. We love going in September, the rain actually is very refreshing and often people hide out in shops while we plow through and enjoy even emptier pathways and rides. :)

Many people suggest ponchos. I don't. It's far too hot and muggy for them in Sept.

Seriously -- the best Carribean trip I ever took had a forecast for thunderstorms every day. When we came up to the desk they had little printout of the week's forecast amongst their desktop clutter. It had angry little thunderclouds for everyday we were there.

Turned out to be twenty minutes a day, almost 3 pm on the clock everyday. The rest of the time we were laughing.

The wife still gives me crap for all the fretting I put in for the last week to ten days before we left.

We just came back and it was listed for showers every day. Checked the local news on tv at 6am everyday, they tell you to the minute what cities will get hit. And they were bang on. Up here its just Orlando area, there its every 5 miles they track.
Only had one day of rain and lasted just over the hour we were having lunch.

we had a torrential downpour at AoA and we went to DTD and it was dry -- never did rain there -- the showers are localized -- so dont stress it.
