Thrifty car rental

Has anyone ever rented a car from Thrifty at MCO? I was told you have to call for a shuttle to the rental counter from the airport. Is this a pain to deal with? Is there a reason this rental is so much less expensive than others at MCO. Need advice!

We rented at Thrifty last year. The shuttle picks you up at the car rental area of the airport and takes you to the site (which is really very close). It was an easy rental and the people very profesional. I would definitely rent from them again. Maybe the prices are lower because the rent is lower off the airport? I don't know, but I think that you would be happy with them.

We are renting a mini-van from Thrifty at the port and returning it to the airport in September. I hope I can find the off-site car return. I will be coming from WDW property to return the car. Thrifty was $25 less than Budget for a one day rental.

My DH rented from them in the winter months & said it was easy! No problem at all & the shuttle was quick! Hope it is the same for you! Deb
