We just used discount code #AU02 to get a economy car from Thrifty for $79 for a week . We got the code from Mousesavers and it saved $60 from the regular price they say you must book by 2/6/04.

I got the same rate for Aug. 28th through Sept. 4th at the Tampa Airport. Saved us $58 compared to our Ressie we had through Dollar.

I hope Thrifty is okay to rent from!

Is there a Thrifty in the MCO airport?

I tried it for our Nov 29-Dec 6th trip and it did not work. Is there a cut off date for it???

I think you need to take a shuttle if you use Thrifty at MCO.Our dates were 4/30/04 - 5/9/04

Economy is what came up when i put the code in so I would guess that code only works for that type of car of course when you get there you can always hope for an upgrade . Im always very nice to the people at rental cars and hotels and most times I can get some kind of upgrade, we booked a condo in Kissimmee for $39 per night from Orbitz and will still try for an upgrade the worst thing they can do is say no.

I just called Thrifty's. The code is only good for less than a 10 day rental, and only at Airport locations in Tampa and Orlando. Our problem is that we are in Orlando for 11 days. I was told I could make 2 seperate reservations but that we would have to go back to the airport to "rerent" the car 1/2 way through the trip. I hate to waste time doing this but the savings over our other rental (almost $100.00) is significant. Any suggestions.

Just finished booking our Dec. 2004 ressie. We don't have airfare yet, but will soon. We will probably fly into TPA (MCO 2nd choice). So, I used rate code AU02 for Dec. 18th through 24th (Christmas time) and I got a base rate of $79.00 again! Yea! I hope we like Thrifty. It is in terminal at the TPA airport and just need to get back and forth from airport mostly. Only 3 of us so the car should be big enough.
