Trader Joe's Kettle Corn
Nachos
Dry cereal, straight from the box, is my go-to driving snack. I especially like maple brown sugar frosted Mini-Wheats or Life.
I have to be careful with crunchy because of some tooth fractures, but I will do whatever I need to do to keep crunchy foods in my diet!
Nuts
Cereal (I add it to my yogurt and blueberries)
Broccoli
#1 - PINEAPPLE BREAD @ OHANA BREAKFAST - I’ll be eating my weight in this in exactly one week. If you add up how much pineapple bread I eat and how much Pog juice my DD22 drinks, the $53 a person is worth it - LOL!
#2 - CREAM CHEESE PRETZEL @ LUNCHING PAD (MK) - These are amazing and it’s my DD22’s favorite WDW treat. We’ll be getting these in 3 days.
#3 - CROISSANT AU FROMAGE DE CHÈVRE, HERBES ET AIL ROTIE @ FRANCE (EPCOT) - These are soooo……good and they’re available during Flower and Garden Festival. I’m definitely looking forward to us eating these again this year.
Challah- While the outside is almost pretzel like in sheen and color, making one think it might be a firmer bread, it is gloriously soft bready goodness on the inside. I have to be careful when buying braided challahs as my brain starts treating it like monkey bread, and I keep picking off soft knot/plait after the other.
Hummus- I'm a fan of chickpeas/garbanzo beans, in general, but hummus is even better. I don't always go traditional with it because the amount of olive oil and tahini needed can make it a more caloric and less healthful dip; however, another soft and highly nutritious food often fills their place and gives me a special hummus style dip that I jokingly call GUAMMUS. I sub avocado for the oil and tahini. While still caloric, it's loaded with good fat and a good source of fiber...in addition to all those beans mashed in.
Egg Salad- I like eggs as a whole, but egg salad is probably my favorite eggy treat. I will sometimes add some crunch with diced celery, but most times it's just eggs mayo and mustard. For the mayo, unless I'm really splurging, I opt for avocado mayo.
Biscuits -- so heavenly
My daughter's mashed potatoes -- she makes them with evaporated milk and lots of butter
My bed and pillow -- we are blessed if we have a warm, soft bed to sleep in
