The kids - while it's bittersweet as they get older and near young adulthood, that's life. Admittedly, I have never been one to have baby fever and was so grateful when they grew past infancy, diapers, etc. It's also awesome when they grow past that age where they catch every little bug that comes their way. It was liberating when they grew to that point where they started making their own lunches and doing their own laundry. The older one getting her license and not having to rely on me to drive her everywhere was also huge.
Puppies - Not quite the same as the kids growing, but puppies growing into full grown dogs usually means a drastic reduction in messes and destructiveness. They also tend to mellow (some more than others) so you're no longer dealing with a little T-Rex.
Another vote for Knowledge/Wisdom - You often hear people ask if you'd want to go back to your 20s. Most people say NO because of how your knowledge and overall wisdom on all sorts of things grows with age. Yeah...twenty-something me was cute and tiny, but I'm always thinking "if I knew then what I know now."
