The video worked for me, you sound so cute with your accent. It's not a big one but it's there. ;)

Oh goody...it worked....wasn't sure it would. :goodvibes
I have an accent??? Like what??? Don't say like a Jersey girl  :rotfl2:

Cathy, I am absolutely loving your trip report! Thank you for sharing your trip with us! :)

Hi Rootskate :cheer2: Thanks for reading along!
Glad you are enjoying it...if you send me again I will write all about it for ya :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Would I ever go back in the heat??? Ummmm...probably not! But, I'm trying to get DVC...and I'm gonna be there all the time...but never a whole week and a half in that heat again!

Would I ever go back in the heat??? Ummmm...probably not! But, I'm trying to get DVC...and I'm gonna be there all the time...but never a whole week and a half in that heat again!

Umm, we need DETAILS!!!!!!!

Cathy what a great day so far, 3 DIS sightings on one day :faint: Your voice sounds so sweet on the video :goodvibes Your DD's are so cute and good move to go for a nap it sounded so hot!

I am LOVEing your trip report! Your DD's are so sweet! I love all the pics, and I loove the pink Mickey crocs that you and your girls were wearing! (I have croc flops, but I'm tempted by that pretty pink color...are they Mickey crocs or just regular?)

Sorry the day was so hot, but sounds like you guys knew how to handle it with your ride schedule, etc.!

Can't wait for more!

Thanks for writting I AM HOOKED!
HUGS for the upload of video, I loved hearing the sounds of the MK, I closed my eyes and pretend I was there already.

For some reason, I can not found the rest of your first day post.
Day 1 Evening (This is continued from post above)Can you tell I am hooked, I am like what wait I am missing some info!

Also, EAGLES! GO EAGLES, of course being a big EAGLES fan I loved the little one and DH too, in their eagles stuff!

Now in order to fully appreciate this day, you, the reader, need to obtain a few items. First, you need some Saran Wrap, 10 heat lamps, a steam iron, and some comfortable shoes. Alright…wrap yourself in 8 or 9 layers of wrap, turn on the :beach: heat lamps so they are placed evenly around you at full blast, and then simply blast hot steam :stir: every 4 or 5 sec or so from the iron, then walk around in your comfortable shoes. Oh yeah, and invite 600 of your closest friends and cram them all in your family room! :crowded:
:lmao: I actually called my mother in to read this - you've just accurately described every day of my life from June through Sept.! Well, minus the 600 closest friends, but plus a wool suit and pantyhose, so I think it evens out. ;)
While we were standing in line, fellow Disser, 1DisneyChick, says pointing to the stroller’s signs and LGMHs plastered all over, “Are you a Disser???”
As I was doing so, up pops Angie….another disser!
Wait... I somehow missed quoting the thrid DIS sighting...
but WOW! You had so many DIS meet-ups :thumbsup2

Yaaa like she said!

HI AGPrincess!!! :cheer2: Thanks so much for reading along! And yes you can get pink Disney crocs...I ordered them online since they had all of the sizes for all of us...they had Mickey heads instead of round holes. One thing though is you can't use Jibbitz with the Mickey ones since the holes are bigger.Yes, ride in the morning and rest in the afternoon....at least during the hot summer months...or else you will melt :rolleyes1

:cheer2: HI PAMouselover....isnt that great to hear the music that Disney pipes in and the excited sounds of everyone...I will probably play that video everyday till our next trip.
I havent posted Day 2 Evening yet...got it typed but havent transfered it. And day 1 evening was just the dinner at Ohana's so it wasnt a separate installment (does that make sense?)
Oh yes, my DH is a big Eagles fan...course the girls keep growing every season so I gotta go out and get them new Eagles stuff for the fall :rotfl: Fly Eagles Fly.....:rolleyes1

I think I just wasnt used to the heat cause I was there last year in August 2006 and it just didnt seem as hot. :confused3 That's right you live in FL and I want to live in FL...retiring there in 11 years! So you have to be used to the heat or at least more adjusted to it....quick question...how do you avoid not going to Disney like 6 times a year....wait...didnt you just get DVC?? Its late and my brain is muddled I think and I am rambling...
Yes three unofficial Dis meets and one official one! Amazing huh~

Wow DVC would be awesome...tell us more!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1: Same here about the heat~

It's just in the beginning phases...shhhhhhh! But, I'm working my hardest! Hopefully, in a few months...I will be an owner baybee!!! :cool1:

Day Two – Our Evening at the Magic Kingdom

So after a bit of a rest, I showered and felt so refreshed that I headed over to the lobby (all by myself! ) to see what package was awaiting us. You see I noticed the flashing light on our phone and that could only mean one thing…a message about a package! After being directed to Bell Services I am handed a Disney Bag and what should I find in there??? Guesses …anyone…anyone??? Give up?? Ok… it’s the Dis Croc Felicia Von Crock straight from Goofylover! Yaaaa!!!! I read the journal and jotted a few notes then happily head back to our room.

I wake the sleeping troops about 20 min before we have to leave. Refreshed, we head over the bridge to see a bus pulling away…unfortunately it was the bus we needed to be on. :guilty: So we wait….and this is the only night we needed the bus to be on time. We only had an hour before our ADR’s at Liberty Tree Tavern. We hear grumblings and a breeze picks up. Looks like rain. So we wait, 5 min, 10 min, 15 min and several busses come and go but none for the Magic Kingdom. It begins sprinkling. … I don’t have our cute Mickey Mouse rain ponchos yet. I knew I should have bought them at DTD. Well, at 6:25 the bus comes. We jump on but the bus first has to make four other stops around POR.

We finally arrive at MK around 6:45 pm and make a plan. Grumpy will run ahead to hold our reservations (which were for 6:50 pm)while I walk with the girls. I gave Elizabeth an :umbrella: umbrella, and covered the other two princesses in the stroller with a plastic stroller cover. With some quick walking and maneurvering around "OP's" who were still in the park, we made it just fine to LTT. We were about 5 min late and the rain was just beginning in earnest. I parked the stroller under a tree in a “dry” spot and kept it covered.

There were a lot of people milling about and some being turned away since the place was booked. By now, Belle is feeling quite like herself and we are all hungry and ready for a great Tavern meal. I actually forgot till we got there that it was a character meal. I mean I knew it when I booked it but forgot in the mean time. Soooo, we place Cindy on the far side of the table (doesn’t like characters) near Dad and put Belle and Elizabeth in an assessable spot near the characters. After the hot day, I was parched and ordered water and ice tea. :drinking1 Let me say that our most excellent waiter kept refilling both. Six cups later I was finally satiated. The girls ordered Mac and Cheese and they served DH and I family style. Well the meal was outstanding! Most definitely not a diet meal…it was filled with mashed potatoes and gravy, turkey, green beans, salad and probably other stuff I can’t remember. It was all so yummy!!

This is another favorite restaurant of ours! The characters kept coming around and Belle loved to touch them since their “fur” was so soft. She also got a big kick out of them touching the top of her head. Poor little Cindy just hid by dad. Each character came by at least twice and even Felicia the Croc got to kiss one. Goofy was hilarious. He took Belle’s flashlight and was running around with it. He also was banging on the front window at people out in the rain. They would laugh and wave back. He even covered Liz’s eyes just as we snapped the pic…funny stuff. Here comes a video if you care to watch..its a few minutes long and lots of pics from dinner:

OK I am continuing this in the post below....scroll down! popcorn::

Day 2 - The evening continued

Speaking of stuffed…dessert was rolled out and I believe it was apple pie with ice cream and the girls had :mickeyjum Mickey sprinkles on their ice cream. The reason I don’t remember it was because I was sooooo extremely stuffed I don’t think I could fit another bit in. After several bathroom runs up the steps (why isn’t the bathroom bigger?) we meet in the lobby. Belle apparently is entertaining everyone with repeating words like “train”, “chooo-chooo”. We videod it since it was so funny. I was just so happy that she was feeling better. I'll spare you the video but here is a another croc pic...Felicia loved traveling on the top of the stroller!

IMGP3155.jpg

So the rain had slowed to a sprinkle by now…it was 8:30 pm. We decided a night-time Jungle Cruise would be just perfect. My DH couldn’t believe how many people were in the park even though it had rained for the last hour. I say this isn’t just any park it’s the :earboy2: Magic Kingdom!!! Well, a nighttime cruise was highly recommended by another Disser named Utahmama, so I was quite happy to try it out. The standby was like 45 min so I was glad they didn’t give us any trouble with our 3:30 FP’s (we were 4 hours late!) After a 5 min wait, we board our JC boat with roof so we didn’t get wet. Zach was our “cruise director” and was funny. I really loved the look of things at night….the animals looked very real!!! The corney jokes kept up till the end when we stopped. Apparently there was traffic ahead. We waited and Zach started filling time by asking where everyone was from. After a while he was out of material and we all started joking around with him. I told him he was going to be in my trip report and I needed the exact spelling of his name….he had no idea what the Dis was. :disrocks: Now, how is that possible? Anyways, after a good 7 or 8 min wait, we finally docked. It was 9 pm and we had planned on going over to Tomorrowland but Grumpy would have :sad2: none of it. I don’t blame him actually…it had been a long day. I just felt bad we missed Monsters and Buzz. Perhaps we could squeeze it in some other time. Or we would just have to come back!

Now, Dissers, its 9 pm at MK…and what happens??? Yes another parade :wizard: blocks the exit. However, since I Dis, I knew you could walk thru the stores since they all connect internally. What a great save. We enter by the Baby Station again and B-line it to the other end in a matter of minutes. Cool! Now the parade was still going on so we followed CM’s with glowing sticks  :teleport: leading the way and signaling how to cross. We watched the parade for a few moments and then got the go ahead to cross. Suddenly we were at the front gates. Wow! By 9:30 pm we were SEATED comfortably on the bus back to POR. We were all tired but happy and though we didn’t do everything, we did get to do lots and had many magical moments throughout the day. I really enjoyed seeing other Dissers and going on all of our favorite rides. Dinner was terrific and I floated happily :goodvibes across the beautiful lighted walkways and bridge of POR back to our nice comfy AC’d room.

And we still had 5 more days left!!! Lights were out by 10 pm!

Cathy,

It sound like you had a wonderful time at MK. I have never done JC in the dark, so I think this is something that I am going to have to add to our list for August:thumbsup2

Hopefully Cindy will outgrow the afraid of character thing - DS did and now he loves them!

Janet

Yea Cath! Great update! So glad that Felicia got to you okay!

Oh you know I am subscribing to this! I have so much I need to get caught up on! I will definitley be back to read more!! :goodvibes Cant wait for it!

Just found your TR! I love all the pics. You can never have enough. Keep them coming. Your princesses princess: princess: princess: are very cute. Cannot wait to read more popcorn::

yey Belle is well again! Too bad Cindy is afraid of the characters. Heres some pixiedust: that she grows out of that!

I love the Poly pictures. That place is just beautiful with the greenery and the water. I also love the picture with your oldest daughter snuggled into you. I think she's a very happy girl there. You are very blessed to have those three precious daughters.

POR is truly beautiful, too. I would be glad to be floating happily along to my room there, too, but for now, we can only do value. We visit the other places to eat and shop, though, and walking through POR is so peaceful. I've been at POFQ at night, and it was pretty, but I have only been to POR during the day. I had a really good chicken quesadilla there.

Thanks for sharing all of your pictures. I hope you're having as much fun reliving the memories as we are sharing them with you.

Janet its really really neat at night...especially if you have done it during the day and are familiar with the ride. I would imagine BTMR would be pretty cool at night too! Wow you are going in August?? That should be fun and its coming up pretty soon! Did you see how scared Cindy was of the characters? Fortunately they stayed away from her and didnt make it worse!

Yea Cath! Great update! So glad that Felicia got to you okay!

Yes Goof - Thanks for being so reponsible...I just checked the thread and apparently DawnMaree gave it to someone and they didnt pass it on so Felicia is again MIA. Yikes! :sad2: I hope they find her! She was such a cute little croc!

Oh you know I am subscribing to this! I have so much I need to get caught up on! I will definitley be back to read more!! :goodvibes Cant wait for it!
