Oh my, Cathy! You did have a bad start, but looks like the day had a happy ending! :goodvibes

Hey that Lapu looks good on you! :teeth: And I just love the new siggie pic of your princesses! Very sweet! princess: princess: princess:

P.S. I love, love, love all the details!!! popcorn::

Loving your TR...can not wait to read more. I am so sorry that Belle was not feeling well. I hope she got better as the trip went on.

Hey, I've come in a little late, but luckily I found it!

Loving the report and the pictures! The Polynesian is such a beautiful resort!

Can't wait to read more! So keep em coming!

Just catching up here and what do I find... YOUR TRIP REPORT!:woohoo:

Love the new siggie pic, your girls are adorable!

Where in Jersey are you BTW? I'm in Essex County.

Love the shore pics, which beach is that?

Anyhow, rocky start but your first day ended great.

Love all the details, keep em coming.

Hi! I just found your trip report and got caught up! Your girls are adorable! I hope the littlest one felt better as the trip went on. UTI's are no fun! Can't wait to read more! :)

Just wanted to check in and let you know I spent a ridiculous amount of time today reading your pre-trippie and now your TR. Whew! Lots of reading but totally worth it! It's been great fun following along and I love the pics of your beautiful family. My fingers are crossed that Belle felt better quickly. I've been to WDW with a sick kiddo and it's such a tough call...stay in the room and let them sleep, or load 'em up with meds and trudge out to the parks? We were lucky enough to have a little Disney Magic happen and my DS recovered quickly in the Florida sunshine. :sunny:
One little question...I see in your signature that you have a DS13, too, but I haven't heard you mention him. Did he not want to come, or is that too personal? My DS14 went through a brief phase of acting "too cool for WDW" but he dropped that as soon as we hopped on the plane to Orlando! :rotfl: Looking forward to reading more!

Oh my gosh..I can't believe the baby got sick. Thankfully it was not something more serious. It does make you rethink the whole trip insurance thing.

I love your report...how do you find the time?......amazing:)

Wanna know a secret??? I didn't finish my lapu either...but I did get through about 3/4 of it...delish!!! So glad that little Belle began to feel better! Isn't the Poly just gorgeous!!! We are staying there next time!

Hi there Puggymom!!! :goodvibes So glad you found me!! Awww, thanks about the girls! I am all the way down in Cape May and the pics were at the CM Point beach. My friend lives a block from the beach and she is due any day now...in fact I was sure she was going to have him (its a boy) while I was away. I did get him a little Mickey Mouse shirt...so cute!! :cutie: Glad the TR isn't too detailed!

Wow DreamofDisney (great name btw!!), I am so honored!! Thanks for checking in on us over here and hope I dont ramble on too much...lol:confused3 I am not good when I am at home with a sick kid so trying to be on a vacation was crazy but as it turns out...the extra sleep, sunshine and prayers fixed her up right away. By Tuesday she was much much better!!! ;)
Now its about time someone asked me about my DS13!!! Can you believe you're the first????? Actually he lives with his dad and just went to Florida in the spring (for baseball springtraining). He wouldn't have liked the crowds, heat and waiting around anyways....he isnt very patient!!!

Oh my gosh..I can't believe the baby got sick. Thankfully it was not something more serious. It does make you rethink the whole trip insurance thing.

I love your report...how do you find the time?......amazing:)

Its a tough call on whether or not to get trip insurance. I should do a survey and see what people end up doing...the pros and cons etc.
Time? Time? Never enough energy to keep up with all the things want to do...actually it was super hot here yesterday and so after running around all morning and swimming etc, the girls took a nap, Elizabeth went to sleep over a friends house and I plopped down in front of the computer to crank out at least one installment....I didn't want to leave you all hanging after the introductions

Wanna know a secret??? I didn't finish my lapu either...but I did get through about 3/4 of it...delish!!! So glad that little Belle began to feel better! Isn't the Poly just gorgeous!!! We are staying there next time!

Oh Goof you make me feel soooo much better...I really felt bad about wasting it :sad2: I agree about the Poly! I am going to save up so we can stay there next time!

Oh my goodness, poor little Belle! I applaud your Mommy-skills - you totally handled illness like a trooper:cool1: I'd have been freaking out.

(I seriously think most people arrive at Disney without one stinkin plan or reservation. They do no research and haven’t a clue. I am sure these are the same people who complain about Disney too.)
::yes:: That's been my experience, too. :sad2:

SCORE!!! What a perfect location! :thumbsup2

Okay, I must say, I'm amazed by how much you guys got in on ARRIVAL day! All we do is drive a bit over an hour and I swear, we're nearly useless that day :rotfl:

Just found your trip report now. I am enjoying reading it. It was nice meeting you at Epcot on the 23rd.

Sunlover!!!! Hey nice to see ya here on the boards and I hope you had a great vacation! :yay: Thanks for reading my trippie. Are you going to write one too????

Well, now I just have to say that I love your report! I'm so glad you PM'd me or else I never would have stumbled across you! I love all the details and pictures. Your girls are absolutely too cute! I love your matching outfits - I've thought about doing that but don't sew and don't know where to buy some that would fit us all.

I'm looking forward to reading more (and, also reading your pre-trip report, but I think that will have to wait for a time that I'm not at work:rotfl: ).

Keep writing and we'll keep reading!

Leslie

Aren't those LapuLapu's wonderful! Mine was very potent...like 3/4 booze and I'm not a drinker! But it was so cool drinking out of a pineapple1

Hey Cathy!

Is it bad that I finished my entire Lapu Lapu!!? I also loved the dessert! I'm going to try to recreate that! I found the recipe.

Did I read somewhere that you taught?

Looking forward to the rest!

Angie

Great start... I love the matching outfits... i think we had the same stroller as you ... (ours broke since our last disney trip)

Can't wait for more

Hi Leslie! Thanks for finding your way here and reading!!!:cheer2: I really enjoyed your TR!! Making the shirts actually didn't involve sewing (with a machine)....just cutting out letters and ironing...and I hand sewed the animal buttons on. Easy peasy mac and cheesy :rotfl2:

Hi Kathy with a K! It was fun drinking out of that pinapple thing and the girls loved the umbrella. ;) Glad I wasn't the only one who thought it was strong!

Hi Angie! :cheer2: Naaaaaaa its not bad that you finished it at all....I think I am just a weakling or else they just made mine extra strong that night? How did you find the recipe? I would love to try to recreate it....actually what I would love is to go back and have another one there! :rotfl:
Yes you are right about the teaching....right now I have the summer off! :thumbsup2

Tanya
Hi Tanya...thanks for reading! :cheer2: Next time we go, I will have to make more matching outfits....they make it easy to keep track of everyone! Course the girls like to match right now....what if they dont want to in a few years from now??? :confused3
The stroller worked great as far as a stroller goes....it was my friends actually! I think it was a combi tandem....anyways, the ultimate would be not to need one...but I am a long way from that!

Just had to say....I love Cape May! Dh's family owns a shore house in Mannahawkin so we come up for a week every summer. We usually make a trip down to the Cape May Zoo and/or Cape May at some point during the week each year. :)

Melissa

Melissa that is so cool! Maybe I'll see you this summer??? I love our free little zoo! Not quite Animal Kingdom but it has lots of different animals! ;)

Not sure....as much as we love our annual trips, we may shelve it this year since we are heading to Disney in September. Even though we have a "free" place to stay there's still the cost of gas and, of course, any "entertainment" that we do while we are there. So, right now we are not planning a time to come up. :sad2:

P.S...........How did the bows travel and work out?

Melissa
