As always, I think your girls are absolutely adorable, and I LOVE the outfits. Too cute! It reminded me of my sister and me when were little. My mom used to make us outfits, too.
Sorry people...instead of writing my last installment I organized a little sewing area for myself and then we went out to dinner and then we walked around Cape May....yeesh...but today I promise to write the last installment!
So here is my little sewing area!!!
Ok I am going to go write now and get this thing finished!!!
It's good that you got yourself a sewing area, since you are so talented at it. I wish I could sew in a straight line, let alone a whole outfit!

Your pics of Cape May really make me reminisce. I grew up vacationing in Cape May and then later going with my DH, from the early 80's till several years ago. Love that area, and even when we go for just a day trip, it's always nice. I have taken so many pictures in front of that Cape May bell, in front of the church.
Final Day at the World
So today was our final day of our much anticipated, much planned WDW trip. I was soooo tired!!! I opened my eyes around 6 am and promptly closed them and rolled over. Ill pack later! Snore, snore, snore
.. at 6:30 am DHs alarm goes off on his wrist
his watch-alarm!! Good thing cause it was so dark in our room still. OK I had better get going! I jump in the shower and start packing
well first I got dressed then I packed up! DH did the same thing. We gathered and stuffed and checked and finally all the commotion woke the girls. They got up, had a bath/shower and got dressed too. They helped with the last minute items.
We had 8:45 am ADR for Boatwrights for breakfast. I figured we should get one good meal in for the day. We headed over around 8:30 am and were seated within 5 min. It was pretty empty actually. This was our only breakfast of the trip since we toured every morning. Our waitress brought us our OJ. This replaces the TS appetizer at breakfast. It was delicious! I heard about the banana stuffed French toast so I ordered that. The girls all got pancakes and DH ordered an omelet. We also had bacon or ham. Let me tell you
it was soooo yummy.
I wasnt expecting much but we really enjoyed every bite. I would actually go back just for that French toast. I passed bites all around! Unfortunately, it was rich so I was absolutely stuffed within 5 or 10 min. Darn.
So around 9:15 am we rolled out of there to the marina area outside.
The hairwrap station was just ahead and I had promised Elizabeth we could do that. She wasnt opened yet so we decided to come back. We slowly walked back to our room enjoying the resort in the morning. We decided not to swim since we were all clean and had other things to do. When we got back to the room we called Bell Services to come and get the luggage to store till it was time for ME to arrive (12 noon). We brushed our teeth and relaxed till they came (about 15 min).
Next, we headed to the hair wrap station. There was a short line of two in front of Liz so we waited in the shade. It was about 10 am and already hot and humid. Why am I surprised by this?? Bell played on the steps (up/down/up/down) which drives all moms nuts since you worry they will fall at any time. This went on for about 20 min!
Finally it was Lizs turn! She choose a med pink, mint green and light blue thread. Then they wrapped. They made different patterns with the three colors and added about an inch of beads at the end to finish it off. Very pretty! We paid and went to find DH.
I forgot to say that while we were hair-wrapping, DH and Cindy went to check out the fishing hole. DH even brought some of his own stuff. I think it was some special lure?? Anyways, we found them and helped them fish for the remaining 10 min. Apparently, they caught nothing though they did feel some nibbles. Oh well, it was fun to try! We were hot by now and decided to check out the gift shop (and the AC!).
The girls browsed through the store and picked out some nice little souvenirs. We also found another penny press machine. I neglected to say that Liz managed to penny press 9 times during the week and I didnt take a pic once
completely forgot. Now it was about 11:20 and we had about 40 min left. We had about 5 snack credits left so we decided to get some snacks for our trip home. Then we basically hung out in the lobby seating area. We hit the bathrooms I think and relaxed. I was really tired so around 11:40 am DH went to get the luggage out of storage and wait outside for ME while we just people watched inside.
He came and got us around noon and then the bus showed up at 12:07 pm. It was a cruise-line bus actually. When we boarded, I told everyone we had all won a cruise
we were all thinking the same thing
course it was complete denial since all of our trips were over. So sad. Even the bus driver said he was going to sneak us over to the red boat
hahahaha. We watched the video on the way to the airport and circled a few times to get to our terminal. I think someone fell asleep on me
.must have been Belle since she likes to nap then. Finally we got off.
The line for our airline was a mile long. Seriously we got in it at 1:05 pm and were finally checked through at 1:45 pm. One bad thing happened. During the week and without notifying us, our air carrier decided to start charging everyone $10/bag. Grrrrrrrrrr
.our great price on air tickets just went out the window with 4 bags. And to make matters worse, they charged for all drinks and snacks on the plane too. I think water was still free. I almost flipped out. I mean they have you since the TSA allows no drinks and then they are going to charge everyone. I guess I was mad cause it was so unexpected. Our flight down was fine and then all these aggravations on the way back.
So we had no trouble getting thru the security check and arrived at our gate at 2:06 pm. We took off at 2:30 pm and I was sure the girls would sleep. Nope
they didnt
they were awake through it all. And then Belle started crying during the last half hour. (I think it was the descent and her ears) I tried to get her to drink and snack but she just wanted to cry. Poor thing
bless her heart! I joked with DH that she would fall asleep while we were taxiing to the terminal. I was wrong
she fell asleep about 2 min before we landed! We tried to laugh through it. So we landed and got our luggage and our car and headed home. We live about an 50 min from the airport. I think we got home around 6:30 pm. We were tired!!! DH unloaded the car and we started the laundry! DHs brother and his wife had stayed at our house while we were gone and left a sweet thank you note and the house was all clean and in one piece. That was so nice! And that is our uneventful end to a wonderful Disney trip!
I did ask the kids what their favorite and least favorite parts of the trip were. Here are the results:
DH Favorite - leaving to come home, darn Grumpy guy!
Myself Favorite Soarin
Liz Favorite Splash Mountain
Cindy Favorite - Riding on the airplane
.hahaha kids always pick the last thing they did!
Belle Favorite - The Princesses, good at least one person remembered them!
We all agreed on our least favorite part: The heat and humidity and the crowds!!!!
So I wanted to thank you all for reading and being a part of our family on our 2007 Disney trip! It was filled with memories and good times and just reinforced my love of Disney! I am really thankful to be able to have the opportunity to go and of course I am also thankful for my wonderful family! I hope the girls remain young at heart and good sisters to each other. Someday I hope they can bring their families to the most magical wonderful place on earth!

Now I do have a little surprise
that I have been waiting to unveil. DH isnt as Disney as the rest of us and said he would not be returning for at least 5 years. However, he didnt say I couldnt return. Soooooooooooo
..here is the plan!
While swimming with my good friend, Boppin to the Top, and all of our girls, we somehow cook up a plan to return. It started out innocently enough with a suggestion like
we should all go together
from Boppins daughter. Within moments, the plan took hold. Within a week we were really serious. I joined TGM and we emailed the AAA agent. The 2008 packages were released last week and now the results are in!!! Boppin to the Top and her two girls, myself and my three girls are going back to the World in Dec 2008 for a 5 night, all-girls trip. We are staying at Caribbean Beach in adjoining rooms and doing all the fun things there are to do in Dec at Disney, sans heat and crowds this time! Well it may be a little bit crowded but nothing like June
plus we have Tour Guide Mike to help us zig while they zag!!! Yahootyyy. So look for a future pre-trippie. It will be called Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Elves in Disney Dec 2008 or something along those lines. We all have special names and will be sporting new dudes I sew and the whole works. I will keep you posted as it gets closer!!!
Thanks again for reading and I wish you a very magical Disney rest of the year!
What a great trip you guys had! I've loved being able to join us, as I sit here waiting for our upcoming trip. Thanks for the ride.
That's is so awesome that you are going next December! You already know that my DH and I are going this December, so make sure you keep following my trippie, so you can get some ideas. Of course, I'll do a post-trip report, too. I'm so psyched about going for the holidays, and I know you and your little ladies will have a blast! I can't believe you kept that secret to yourself, so well. I would have been busting to share.

Good idea joining TGM. He's given us amazing tips that we plan to use. Have fun planning and remember from me, it's never too early to begin a pre-trip report. So, let me know when you begin.

Wow! It's been a hard secret to keep since you "made" me join the boards then I couldn't even mention the trip till you finished your trip report(heee, heee). I know it's a long ways off yet, but it really is funny how it all came to be!! The only thing I have to correct is that you said we would all be sporting new "dudes"....hopefully you meant "duds" (as in clothes) because none of us girls want a new Man...our girls are all too young and you and I have great husbands to let us go to Disney without them!!! The girls(our little elves) have picked really cute names for the trip for sure. Does anyone start planning the next trip BEFORE this trip report is even finished????I'd really like to go THIS Dec but we went in Jan 2007 and twob4him in June 2007 so we will (im)patiently wait while twob4him sews!!!!!
We began planning our December of this year trip before we even left our last trip, which was last summer. Never too early to plan. In fact, if you read my report, you'll see that we are already talking about '08 (
Disney Cruise) and '09 (Parks & Cruise)! Can't get enough of Disney, I guess. Have fun planning! Maybe you can begin a trip-report, too. It's fun.
