We are still on UK time so were wide awake at 5:30am. This is great as we are showered and ready and at IOA for 7:30. We follow the crowds straight over to WWOHP and went straight for FJ not really taking in the queue. Dylan and I rode first. I was really nervous as I'm very claustrophobic and I hate spiders but wow I am so pleased I rode. This wa completely awesome. I'm not going to spoil it for anyone who hasn't ridden but I was completely blown away by this ride. I swapped places with PAul and the boys rode before we went back to the queue to do it all again. This time the queue was a little longer so we spent some time taking in the detail in the queue. The castle is quite dark so not many of our photos turned out great but this one is in the portrait room.
After our second ride the crowds were starting to pile in as it was now after 9am so we got a frozen butterbeer and a normal butterbeer in souvenir mugs and headed out of WWOHP. We all really enjoyed the butterbeers and will definitely be back for more.
Next we did baby swap on the high in the sky trolley. Dylan and Paul rode first. I wasn't really bothered as it looked a little tame but Dylan really enjoyed it and said it was funny so I rode with him. Then the boys went on one fish two fish red fish blue fish which they both enjoyed. Dylan had a great time trying to get them soaked.
We headed across to Marvel Superhero Island where we rode SPiderman. Again this was something we enjoyed. The technology seemed to be the precursor for FJ. The line to meet Spidey was pretty short so we joined that. Dylan got nervous and Spidey called him Doctor Serious. Spidey was really chatty and the interaction was great.
We bypassed Toon Lagoon as we didn't fancy a soaking yet but then we ended up on JP river adventure! The boys went first and got completely drenched. When it was my turn we sat at the back so were saved from a complete soaking although Dylan was already soaked so it didn't matter to him.
We stopped to grab some sunglasses for Dylan as he'd lost his and the lady who served us called the HRH to see if our pushchair had turned up. It hadn't and I was getting really hot and bothered so we decided to stop for some lunch. After lunch Paul noticed he's caught his shorts on something and there was a tear in them so we headed back to HRH so he could change. I checked with the desk to see if our pushchair had arrived and I was so relieved to see it had.
After a quick change we decided to try US as it was closing early for HHN. We went on Shrek first. Charlie was asleep so I went for a stationary seat so I didn't get the full effect. He didn't stay asleep for long as he got wet a couple of times. I quite enjoyed this but the boys were less impressed.
Next up we went on the mummy. We all really enjoyed this but it wasn't what I was expecting at all.
We saw Disaster ahead so I told the boys to ride while I sat out with Charlie having some Mummy and baby time. Charlie lay in his pushchair chatting. He was really giggly and we had a lovely time in the sun.
The boys on the other hand hated disaster - Dylan said that it was a waste of his life and Paul said that it truly was a disaster so I'll skip that one.
It was 4:45 by now so we decided to head back to the hotel.
We spent a couple of hours chilling in and by the pool. I ordered a couple of beers and an orange juice and nearly had a heart attack when the guy asked for nearly $45!
He told me we could keep the glasses and I thought for that price I'd bloomin hope so. I felt so relaxed around the pool though and the beer certainly helped with that!
We decided to go to the Kitchen for dinner. We all really enjoyed this and with our AAA discount it was a reasonable price. Dylan was practically falling asleep at the table so the boys went back to the room while I settled the bill. When I got back he was already fast asleep.
